John was surprised to see Officer Frank so soon. "Sorry that I'm doing this to you again," he grunted. John turned around to see a student dressed up in the school's mascot uniform, Rory the Lion. "But I figured you'd get first dibs on punishment for guys who try to steal the sports stuff."
"It's just a prank," Alex shot back. "It's not like I was going to damage the stupid thing."
"Still against the rules to take it," Officer Frank said. He looked over at Donnie. The dog was scratching at the door. "I'll be back in a minute."
"Sure thing," John said. His attention turned to Alex. "So you wanted to be the mascot?"
"No! This stupid thing. Just thought it'd be funny to see you guys freaking out that you couldn't find it." He almost sounded proud that he was going to ruin a several hundred dollar suit.
"It'd be funny," John said sarcastically. Rory was a crowd favorite and if he wasn't out there John would never hear the end of it. Angry parents who specifically brought their kids to see a dancing lion were never stop complaining about it. "Wouldn't be so funny if you were the mascot."
"Whatever, Mr. McMahon," Alex snidely said. But John ignored him typing something into his computer. It was weird watching him not care. "Can I at least take this off?"
"Yeah," John smiled. "You don't need to wear it anymore."
"Thanks," he pulled at the back zipper. The mascot suit fell off him to the floor. He stepped out of the suit and sat back down crossing his arms. "So what are you going to do to me?"
"You'll find out in a minute," John smiled. He'd already seen the student's hair turn to a dark shade of brown. The rest of his hair had grown thicker around his arms, turning to a more golden color.
"Jeez you're stupid," he scoffed. "I hate this school." His finger nails turned dark. Their blunt edges started to sharpen into claws. He scratched at the hair growing on his body. The itchy sensation took hold of him. All over his body he was starting to scratch. "Mind if i go to the bathroom?"
"No," John smiled. "Go right ahead."
Alex stood up. His normal 5'6" height shot up a few more inches. He briskly walked to the bathroom still scratching at his body. "What the hell?" he uttered. "So itchy..." The sharp nails kept trying to ease the feeling but it just kept growing. He scratched deeply into his shirt tearing it from his body. "What the hell?!" he repeated. His eyes turned to the mirror. His entire chest was coated in bright golden fur.
"This can't be happening," he said, still scratching his body. Thick brown facial hair was growing around his face. Each second it grew another inch, wrapping completely around him. He winced feeling a pain in his shoes. He looked down seeing thick black claws jut out of his shoes. Suddenly, he fell forward into the sink as the heels of his feet raised up. His toes rounded into large black paws. "What the...?" it came out as a growl. His nose pushed out with his mouth. Sharp teeth filled his growing maw. He let out another growl. More guttural and strong. Muscles burst out from his body. The thin guy quickly gaining the power and strength of a bodybuilder. Each muscle big and round.
"Woah..." he said, staring over his frame. "What was I doing in here?" The question seemed lost on him. He was currently naked standing in front of the bathroom mirror. He stood up examining his buff 6'5" frame. "Dunno," he shrugged it off looking for his clothes. On the floor was the football shirt and pants he wore everyday. "Oh well," he smiled leaving the bathroom. His long tail swayed behind him.
"Hey Mr. McMahon," despite his deep voice he still sounded very chipper.
"Hey Rory," John said. "Ready for the game tonight?"
"Sure am! I love cheering on the team!" he said.
