"It was the annual picnic, me and my buds were playing football, while my geeky little brother staked out our family's spot near the big oak. I don't know how that twerp ended up as my brother. He's only like 4 feet tall--okay he's bigger than that, but he's tiny. I'm 6'2" weigh 220, all solid muscle, and he's like Mr. Woosyboy. I'm always pulling him out of scrapes, and he's always horning in on my fun. The boys and I taught him that he's still too small to play football this morning, before the weirdness started. It was for his own good."
"I was about to throw a long pass to Roger, who was open. And suddenly, I felt all tingly. I threw it, but the trajectory was wrong, it fell short. It seemed I'd stepped into a hole, but I looked down and saw my feet seemed closer than normal. I blinked as I felt my waistband loosen, and start to drop to my knees, I grabbed it and held it up. I could see my mates were in similar difficulties, we seemed to be shrinking. I remembered seeing a movie where this guy got sprayed with pesticide or fertilizer and shrank, I looked down at the grass we'd been playing on. Perhaps that was the cause. I turned and looked at my little bro on the blanket, and farther off at my car in the parking lot. My cell phone was in the car, but I left the keys with the picnic stuff. I started to run toward my bro. The other guys followed me. We were shrinking fast. My shoes and socks were soon distant memories. I paused as I struggled to cover my nakedness with my tent sized shorts, and looked up at the giant that my little brother had become. I called out to him, "Call 911!" I hope he heard me, as a shrank beyond his sight, disappearing into my smelly shorts. Grass grew up like palm trees around me. Suddenly this giant black ant loomed over me. The next thing I knew I was following Roger and he was following a line of ants. The big ant had put this huge crumb on my back, and was making me carry it. Roger was naked too, and he was toting a giant seed. I started to speak, but received a hard whack across my buttocks from the black ant. It was all so confusing, it was like a bad dream. It was just easier to obey, and hope I'd wake up soon. I noticed a bright tarpaulin off to my left hovering of the bamboo forest through which we were walking. Suddenly, a great shadow covered us. I glanced up and saw a huge giant."
"Hours have passed. I'm sweaty, dirty, hungry and thirsty. I've carried six crumbs, 3 seeds and two odd globs of stinky stuff into the anthill, and am returning for something else. We are climbing up a blade of grass and on to the tarpaulin. I realize it's my family's blanket. I look up at the mountain looming to my right. I know it's my brother. I curse my fate and wish...
