Gloria was feeling relieved when her and her friends were finally out of school the next day.
"What did you want to show us? I've got homework to do." Jackie asked her friend. Jackie was typically one who wanted to get her homework done first before doing anything else.
"It's sort of secret, so we have to go to my house and I'll show you all." Gloria explained to Jackie, Diane, and Felicia.
"I'm cool with it. My parents definitely don't mind if I come over for a little bit." Diane said as they began walking to Gloria's house.
Gloria looked inside the house to see that her mom and dad weren't home and breathed a sigh of relief. Her mom did know about the ring, but it would be hard to explain it to her dad if he caught them with it.
"Okay, let's go to my room." Gloria said as she went into her bedroom first followed by Diane, Jackie, and Felicia.
"Good, now listen, what I'm about to show you, you can't tell your parents about it." Gloria said before taking out the ring and showing it to the three of them.
"That's it? It's just an old ring." Felicia said sounding disappointed.
"It's not just a ring, it's a magic ring that can make a person older or younger just by wishing for it." Gloria explained to them.
"Come on Gloria, don't try to mess with us." Diane said rolling her eyes.
"I swear I'm not messing with you three. If you want, I'll make you of you older right now just to prove it." Gloria suggested.
"Okay, I'll bite, make me older then Gloria and show me your so called 'magic ring'." Jackie dared.
"Alright, just remember you asked me to do this, I wish Jackie was physically...." Gloria wished.
