Heather was rather enjoying herself at the Chinese New Year festival. She was particularly enjoying the Chinese buffet. Of course, this time, she was careful not to eat any fruits or vegetables. She did want a repeat of what happened at the Halloween Carnival. But at least rice wouldn't upset her digestive tract and cause her to leave Jeremy unguarded.
Speaking of whom, Heather gave Jeremy an annoyed look at he continued to fiddle with his phone. "Jeremy, will you put that thing down and eat already?" asked Heather.
Jeremy glanced at the chopsticks in Heather's hand, noticeably longer than most chopsticks. "How are you able to eat with those things?" he asked.
"I've got my manual dexterity back," said Heather boastfully.
"You couldn't use chopsticks before you became a dinosaur," said Jeremy before peering closer. The ends of the chopsticks were actually joined together and extended out into a spoon shape, effectively making the chopsticks a pair of tongs. "Aha, you're cheating," said Jeremy.
"Hey, they were selling a lot of things and it's easier to pick up food with them," said Heather, "And you don't need to playing with your phone apps during meals."
"I'm not playing," said Jeremy, "I'm just checking with some people back at the lab."
"What is it now?" asked Heather with annoyance.
"Well, we're just confirming that we're filling in some of the blanks for Project Dinotopia," said Jeremy.
"From that meet-and-greet?" asked Heather. It wasn't a particular big event. But it did allow some people who haven't personally met the people in Project Mesozoic to see them in person. It was rather boring for Heather, but she did remember one even that was at least a bit entertaining.

"So is it really true that the T. Rex really had the strongest bite of any animal?" asked a visitor.
"The strongest bite of any terrestrial animal," said Rex, "There are certain sea creatures that could have had a more powerful bite. The megalodon for instance. But on land, a T. Rex could chew through virtually anything." He picked up a spare rib and said, "For instance, this tiny piece of bone would have no chance at all in my powerful jaws." With that, he popped the entire thing into his mouth and bit down. There was a loud crunching sound, but then Rex's eyes widen and started to water.
Tyra noticed his distress and came over. "Rex, is something wrong?" she asked, "You look like you're in considerable pain."
Rex couldn't hold it in any longer and yelped, "Yow! My tooth!"
"Let me take a look at it," said Tyra before pulling Rex's mouth wide open and pointing it towards a ceiling light. After a bit, she said, "Well, the good news is there isn't anything wrong with your tooth itself."
"I'm pretty sure I'm not imagining this pain," said Rex.
"Yeah, that's from the big sliver of bone that's stabbed right into your gum," said Tyra.
"Oh, of course," said Rex with annoyance.

"So, more people wanting to become dinosaurs? Let me guess. Spinosaurus, Struthiomimus, or Allosaurus?" asked Heather.
"Well, that, but I think there's been a big leap in the reverse-evolution for avian DNA," said Jeremy.
Heather blinked before getting what Jeremy said, "Oh, you mean that thing for turning Sophie's parrot into a dinosaur."
"Yes, though there's a few things to iron out. We'll probably be ready to test it before long," said Jeremy.
"That's cool. Now eat your food before it gets cold," said Heather.
"Heather..." started Jeremy.
"Put down your phone and eat," growled Heather.
"Yes, dear," said Jeremy with a sigh.
