"Do you think it's a good idea?" A scientist asked his boss during a meeting. "About the new guy... Adams."
"He's young and naive." She replied without taking her eyes off her laptop. "He's around the same age that boys got after pubertification. It would be more interesting to read his reports over any of yours."
"But if he's discovered?" Another scientist said. "He could compromise our research."
"I don't think so." She smiled. "That village is set for our purposes." She closed her laptop. "Also, I'm not stupid to send him alone. He's being watched."
Adams has been under the guy's bed for almost an hour. And judging by the guy's crying he could stay there for several hours. His arms and legs were numb and he knew that he couldn't face that guy in his actual condition. He needed to find a way to escape.
He looked around him in order to find something useful. Except for dust and moldy wood, he found an small notebook and a chicken bone. It wasn't enough to make a good plan. His only option was to throw the bone to distract him a moment and run away as fast as he can. His legs were still numb, but he hasn't any other idea.
He prepared to throw it when something unexpected happened. The door opened and a boy, maybe 10 years old, came in.
When he entered and watched the man laying on the bed, he almost cried but before any of them could do anything, the window burst out.
"What's going on?!" Adams screamed in his mind as he watched the kid fell on the floor. He was worried the kid could be death but despite of some scratches he was ok. Fainted but alive.
He had no idea what happened but he knew it was his chance to escape. He ran away through the door without looking back at the fainted people in the room. He ran through the forest as fast as he can. Worried that someone else could be pursuing him.
"Initializing phase two in five minutes." A scientist said as he turn on a machine in the test room.
"Another good boy who has embraced his new masculinity." The lady scientist smiled. "Look how big he got! Please tell me his status."
