While New Year, and Chinese New Year didn't always coincide with each other, both of them were considered good times to leave old things behind, and start over with new things. There were many different ways of doing this:

One of Doctor Stein's co-workers was just passing him when he saw that he was a bit more irritated than usual.
"So how is our newest Centennial?" asked Dr. Stein, using the identifier for those who were more than 80-100 years old who took part in double dosing for restored youth.
"She might be enjoying it a little too much." said the co-worker.
"How so?" asked Dr. Stein, hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst.
"Apparently Olivia was a French Jew who was a teenager in 1939 when the Maginot Line failed and the Nazi's captured France. She spent the next part of WWII on the run until the D-Day invasion of Normandy, when she became an informant for the Marines. She also served as Richard's contact for Nazi troop movement in France. After the war, Richard got her political asylum and American citizenship, but she was never the same again. She was later diagnosed with modern PTSD, which got her into Project Phoenix, again with Richard's sponsorship." said the co-worker, reading from her file.
"And how is she now?" asked Dr. Stein, hoping against hope.
"She's actually not as bad as you realize." answered the co-worker, "While being a double-dosed gazelle Animalian sent practically everything female about her into overdrive, including discarding her old name, it wasn't enough to be classified as DSM-4 nymphomania. She does have a stable job as a cocktail waitress at the Meat Market, but she puts a little too much 'flirty-birdy' into her work. She's dyed the edges around her restored brown hair purple, and got ear and nipple piercings, while most Animalians would blanch at getting piercings, or even tattoos." Said the co-worker, finishing the report.
"Have her visit Dr. Jones for regular therapy appointments, that seems to help." Replied Dr. Stein, glad that what he heard fell in the middle between what he hoped for her and what he dreaded.

Some time later, Dr. Stein was supervising as a number of Chinese girls were wheeled into what could easily be hospital rooms, but were actually something else.
"So these are the ones for Project Cameron?" he asked one of the nurses.
"Yes, a good number of them suffering from illegal aphrodisiac withdrawal, while others have STDs that are common in China." replied the nurse. "The only request that they have, from what I was able to understand, that their old identities be completely removed from the database."
"Tell them not to worry about it." said Dr. Stein, thinking back to his late high school to early college years, "There's nothing that duct tape can't fix, and as far as the public knows, these girls died from the STDs or from Drug Overdoses."

"Our kids are doing well at the Pee Wee Swim League." said Rick, referring to Claw Coliseum's new swimming lesson program for newborn Animalians.
"I don't know, Jake didn't seem to like it that much." Said Ralph, as Jake burped twice more after their first lessons.
"Ah, he'll be fine, all our water has some chlorine in it and it doesn't do us much harm." said Larry, who was coming downstairs from the weight room, and having heard about how Jake had accidentally swallowed a mouthful of water during the introductory 'dipping' class. "And besides, every kid gets a bellyful of water at some time in their life. It makes for better reminiscing when they're older."
"Like the time you froze on the high dive during high school and they had to call the fire department to get you down?" Joked Anton, who was behind him.
"Can it, Lily-liver." replied Larry, poking fun back at him.
