While many people and/or Animalians found the concept of shows like "It Only Hurts When I Laugh!", "The Smoking Gun Presents World's Dumbest...", or similar shows, "America's Funniest Home Videos" was more easily understood as a chance to win a large amount of money by catching funny things on video, and not only because it was the oldest show of it's kind.
What was generally planned was that, after every major celebration in Animalia, video clips from that celebration would be brought together and shown for a chance to win the $10000, become eligible for the $100000, and help ease the pain of embarrassment in a way.

Some of the funnier videos were from Mieni Atoll, which were known collectively as "Surf Nuts, Beach Bums, and Sand Dweebs". Many of those were guys trying to charm female Animalians after having a bit too much to drink and getting foiled by their bondmates, or otherwise failing and ending up "on the rocks". The Finalist for this one was where a beach bum tries to hit on Kirana, but gets knocked over by someone yelling about seaweed.

Others were from the Lost City of Vilcabamba's celebration of Mardi Gras, which had a lot of inhibitions loosened, and would get into future advertising (with some editing to keep the more explicit parts out of minor hands). The Finalist for this category, otherwise known as "Georges and Georgettes of the Jungle", was where a male tourist strips everything down in the spirit of Mardi Gras and streaks around the property, but what made him stop was when a female tourist reached for... at this point the Official Seal of the FCC appeared on the inappropriate part while the screen froze. At that, the host for it said in explanation, "We would like to show you, but we don't want to get in trouble with the FCC. It's enough to say that as he got redressed, he only got four strings of bead for his little show."

When it came to the finals and the final tally of votes, the winners for First, Second, Third Place, and Highest Honorable Mention were, from lowest to highest was: "Seaweed Shanghai", "FCC Fishing at Mardi Gras", "Beads, Pups, Punishment, and Hypocrites" (Sarah and Malice during Mardi Gras), and the $10000 Prize Winner was "Jurassic World Live" (Heather scaring a would-be Juliet away from Jeremy).
