Slowly opening your eyes, you awake feeling dizzy and light-headed.
You immediately realise that you are immobilised and you definitely are not in your room. Someone has also removed your clothes, something both embarrassing and aggravating. The table is oddly warm.
Your vision slowly starts clearing and you look around the room as best as you can with the limited field of view the upright table you’re strapped to allow you.
You'd think you'd be in a lab but instead you appear to be in what appears to be a basement. Fluorescent lights brightly light the room; there are cupboards on the far wall and posters with pictures of landscapes on the right and left walls. The room has a sweet scent of potpourri.
Hearing something behind you, you try to turn but your restraints won’t allow it.
“Ah, you’re awake,” a voice from behind you says, the voice of a man.
He walks in front of you. You expect him to be wearing a medical gown and have glasses and other articles of clothing that say mad scientist but instead he wears a medical apron and gloves over shorts and a tee-shirt with a baseball cap.
“Who are you? What do you want with me?” you ask, trying not to sound afraid.
“Don’t you remember?” he mockingly asks.
No, you can’t remember who he is. In fact, you can’t remember how you came to be there. The last thing you remember was being at a bar. You had a drink, felt dizzy, and then woke up here.
“No, I don’t. What do you want with me?” you ask.
“I want you!” he answers, smirking.
He walks back behind you and you can hear him working with something. Finally, he walks back in front of you, holding a syringe. He doesn’t give you time to say anything before he injects the blue-green contents into your right forearm. As you feel the cold liquid pouring into your veins, he stands back and smiles triumphantly.
“What have you done to me?” you demand.
“You’ll see,” he smirks.
At first nothing happens, however after a minute your abdomen begins to feel warm.
