“So uh... anyone have any ideas?” Jen trailed off. The girls huddled close, discussing various ideas on how to have Jen change positively, or get revenge on Kyle, or even other, more outlandish ideas (one of them even suggested they all touch her at once, but this was shot down). Jen noticed, however, that Beth was absent from the conversation, and the circle around her. The girls were so enamored with their conversation they hadn’t noticed Beth slip off.
Suddenly, Jen felt breathing on the back of her neck, and heard Beth begin to talk. Jen slowly turned around, and stepped back slightly. “I have an idea,” Beth started. “I absolutely despise what that little twerp did to me, giving me this travesty of a body.” The girls all began to step back as Beth advanced, careful not to graze Jen in their retreat. “No offense, Natalie.” “N-none taken,” Natalie piped back, fear evident in her voice. “However, I know how I can fix this now. I’ll be free of this curse, and this horrible, inconvenient body forever!”
“No, Beth, please!” Jen cried. Beth lunged at Jen, grabbing her torso with her hands. Jen tried to jump backwards, but Beth caught her. The cheerleaders all gasped, amazed that Beth would be the one who hated her body the most. “Figures.” “Of course it was her.” “Wish it was me.” “Now I’m stuck like this?” Trish complained, her four heads, as always, arguing with each other. Jen began to panic, however, as she felt her body lock up. Beth’s formerly maniacal expression hardened instantly, her face looking stoic, as if it were carved from stone. Jen suddenly felt her arms rip off her pants, her body turning around as Beth’s moved robotically forward, leg after leg marching behind.
Jen suddenly felt Beth’s head on her crotch, her shortish hair tickling Jen’s thighs. Soon she was flooded with excruciating pain, as the head pressed into her crotch. She screamed. The pain receded quickly, thankfully, as Beth’s now headless body merged with her hips. However, Jen wasn’t free yet. Her original legs began to tingle, and felt as if they were asleep. She looked down to see them recede into her hips, the merge between her and Beth complete. She still couldn’t move, however, as Beth’s legs began to grow. Her new lower body grew until she stood 7 feet tall, her hundreds of legs now all long and curvy. Jen began to cry.
“What’s wrong, Jen?” Amanda asked Jen.
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN, ‘WHAT’S WRONG??’ BETH JUST DIED!” Jen screamed, tears streaming down her face.
“Who is Beth?” they all asked.
“Wh-who is Beth? She was on the cheer squad!” Jen cried, her tears drying up. The curse must have altered reality so that Beth never existed!
“No Beth’s been on the squad since the first half of 1983,” Gwen said.
“Huh, alright. Sorry about that,” Jen said, wiping away her tears. Memories flooded her skull as she did so, pertaining to her new body. She remembered the first new pair of legs she grew all those years ago, and how the doctors never could figure out what was causing it nor if it would end. And so far, her growth showed no signs of stopping–400+ legs later, and she still got a new pair every week. “No wonder Beth wanted rid of this,” she thought.
“Well, let’s get on with the cheer practice!” Amanda said, kicking up in her trademark manner.
