After talking things out Karen and Samantha found that they truly did have quite a bit in common. The two 10 year olds now talked happily as the group settled in to watch a movie. As the evening wore on the group became tired eventually falling into a blissful sleep.
As the sun began to shine through the living room the girls stretched and yawned. “Hey,” Karen whined. “It’s morning when are we supposed to grow back up?” Claudia smiled at the grumpy looking girl. “The potion should wear off soon so relax,”
Karen grunted in annoyance as the girls made their way into the kitchen. Since no one was an adult yet the girls decided to keep breakfast simple. Toast and cereal now made its way around the table as the girls sat. “Can’t remember the last time I started the morning without coffee,” Karen grinned as she swung her feet above the floor. The others giggled quietly, Karen was still adjusting to reliving their youth. The girls over the last few months hadn’t begun to adjust to waking up at different ages. As a result breakfast usually differed going anywhere between sugary cereal and coffee.
“So what are we going to do today,” Mary Elise asked. “It is New Years Eve after all and I’m guessing we’re going to be a bit more grown up for tonight.” Katie smiled as she looked at her sister. “Well I’ve been doing a bit of research turns out that club Hype is having a huge New Years party.”
“Hmm could be fun,” Claudia stated thoughtfully. The others all nodded in agreement as they happily began eating again. “Hey Claud you still have those dresses from the last time we went clubbing right?” Mika asked. Claudia nodded as she jammed another piece of toast in her mouth. “Yep still in my closet,” she answered wiping her mouth. “Soon as we grow up we can try them on.”
“Any idea when that will be,” Tricia smirked. Befor Claudia could answer she, Tricia and Karen smelt a tingle spread throughout their bodies. The three now watched as they began growing up once more. “That answer your question,” Claudia laughed as they became 13 once more. As the teens happily watched themselves grow they sighed with relief as their bare feet once more touched the floor.
“Um guys,” Karen said meekly. “We Uh might want to change.” The three growing girls looked themselves over curiously as they noticed their nightgowns were not growing with them. Already they could see the nightgowns slowly creeping up their legs.
“Oops,” Claudia giggled. “Guess we better change before we end up flashing everyone.” Quickly the three 15 year olds exited the room trying to hold their nightgowns in place. Katie and her friends held in a giggle as they watched them leave.
“So are the year going to age back to their original ages,” Katie asked Mika. Mika smirked as she looked at Katie. “Sort of,” She’s laughed. “I set up the potion so that they would age up to 21 when the sun came up. They won’t turn back to their old selves til the morning of New Years Day. Claudia and Tricia’s should be okay with it so hopefully Karen doesn’t get to freaked out.”
Almost on que the girls watched as Claudia, Tricia, and Karen now reentered the room. “How come we’re not getting any older,” Karen asked with concern. “The potion is going to slowly wear off,” Mika said. “For today your guys get to be 21. By this time tomorrow though you’ll be back to your old selves.”
“Can't complain about that,” Tricia said happily, running her hands over her body. “Now Claudia you think you can brew us some coffee?” Claudia smiled as she tossed back her long blonde hair. “Absolutely,” she said. “Which reminds me, the rest of you gonna want coffee too?”
The girls now looked each other over and shrugged. “Might as well,” Samantha said. “We were going to grow up soon anyway.” Katie smiled as she now wished the group to 21. In only moments the table of children was now surrounded by a group of college coeds. Checking themselves ver the girls smiled as they nw anxiously talked over their plans. In only a few short hours the girls would find themselves dancing the night away inside one of the best nightclubs in town. For now though they planned to just enjoy the morning and each others company.
