There was a boy named Zivan. His parents were liberals that encouraged Zivan to develop both his male and female sides. This lead to Zivan being picked on at school.
Zivan did like sports and wanted to join a sports team but the jocks at school wouldn't let him. Even though Zivan was strong and athletic, he just wasn't masculine enough for the jocks.
On the other hand, the girls wouldn't accept Zivan either. He wasn't feminine enough.
Feeling alone, Zivan turned to books. In particular, he studied magic. Most of the stuff he read about magic was just fictional nonsense but he did find a few things that were true. He learned how to cast a spell to stop time which he used to escape his bullies. He couldn't keep time stopped for more than a few minutes but he did occasionally use this spell to depants the bullies in public. They never knew that anyone had done it. The bullies would just be walking along and suddenly their pants would be around their ankles.
Then one day, Zivan learned another useful spell. The description said, "This spell causes everyone to accept whatever you say as being true. If you call someone a pig, everyone will believe that he is a pig. There will be a mild alteration to reality to allow people to continue believing whatever you say. That person will not instantly become a pig but slowly, bit by bit, that person will change into a pig. Each change will depend on what is said. Words will have great power. Once you've called someone a pig, as soon as anyone mentions his piggy tail, he will grow a piggy tail. As soon as anyone mentions feeding him slop, he will grow a pigs ability to digest slop."
The description continued, "Unlike other spells of this kind, this spell does not interpret your words too literally. You don't have to fear saying, "I'm an idiot" and turning yourself into an idiot. This spell is able to interpret what you mean regardless of what you say. Likewise, calling someone a pig won't turn him into a pig if you don't mean it."
Zivan liked this spell and immediately cast it upon himself so he could have the ability to mess with people. Then he went searching for who he should mess with first.
