Rick swam. Chad was silent, and brooding. He didn't want to be Rick's Speedo, but he really didn't have a choice. He wanted Rick to make him human again, and from what Felix and Rick had said, if Chad whined or begged or disobeyed his owner in any way, he'd be inanimate forever. His only hope was that Rick would offer him double or nothing bet for baseball. Though Chad was a bit unsure what double or nothing meant in this case. He couldn't be made more inanimate than he was, right? Or maybe if he lost, he wouldn't even be human in Rick's bedroom or bathroom? Or did Rick literally mean nothing? Would Chad cease to exist? He would take any risk to be human permanently. So he was silent.Chad tried not to think about what he was or where he was. He told himself he was in the pool, but left out the part about being wrapped around Rick's ass and manhood. He focused on the water rushing by, and not the growing boner inside him.
At last Rick stopped swimming. He tread water for a minute or so, then he pulled himself up over the side. Chad had expected Rick to lie in the sun, but instead Rick showered off in the pool house. Then he peeled Chad off his body, pulled on a long hooded terry cloth robe, and hung Chad on a hook by the pool house door to dry. Chad was hanging in the open air, and watched Rick climb the stairs back to his apartment. As he hung there dripping dry, Chad tried to reassess his situation. There had to be a way out of this. He wasn't a wimpy towel boy like Felix, and he hadn't agreed to any bet with Rick. He was a victim, and Chad didn't know how to handle being a victim.
