You look carefully at your reflection in the mirror. But it's the same as the other one, as it shows yet another orange-furred cat in vicinity.
For a brief moment, you brush it off : maybe it's only a similar mirror, and perhaps you'll have better luck by still looking.
But as the third, then the fourth, the fifth, up to the tenth mirror shows the same thing, you do shiver in dread.
You don't want to believe it. You don't want to admit that maybe you're cursed forever in a feline shell.
But finally, by the time you've made every single mirror possible, the truth does indeed dawns on you.
You are most likely now a cat forever. A feline being that cannot express it's despair to other human without being misunderstood.
An orange-furred domestic cat that is more than certainly going to experience extreme pampering, forced cuddles and laziness, unless told to hunt down pests.
This surrealistic situation is more than annoying : you can't just leave all of your human lifestyle - with it's ups and downs - behind you. You had just moved out of your parents' earlier in this year, and you were appointed for an interesting job !
You feel down. Deep inside you, however, you start to forcibly accommodate to your new life. You have no other choice anyway.
