Elizabeth was walking down Elmwood when something in a shop's window caught her eye. Hanging from a small hook along the wall of the storefront was a pair of rainbow striped toe socks. She used to have a pair just like these, and thinks back to all the fun she used to have teasing her then-boyfriend with her multicolored toes. Those socks always made her feel so sexy - she'd put them on and instantly command his attention. Sure, he had a foot fetish, but her toes were irresistible.
Craving that feeling again, Elizabeth walks into the shop, and finds herself greeted by an incredibly unique sensation; this weird little place felt like it was straight out of the 1800s. The collection of items inside, strangely enough, counteracted this vague feeling, with colorful little trinkets and doodads acting as anachronisms for the olde aesthetic of the musty shop. There were sodas and sweets, dice and rings, lamps and remotes, books and wands... What an odd collection of wares.
She spotted what she came in for, a pair of knee-high rainbow toe socks, and excitedly plucked them off their hook on the wall. Walking over to the cash register sitting atop a long countertop, Elizabeth saw no cashier. She rung the small silver bell that sat atop the counter, but after a minute or so of silence Elizabeth began to get antsy. She couldn't wait to get home and try these socks on, so she slipped a 20 underneath the bell and walked out. "Surely that'll cover it," she thought to herself.
