Noland was Stephen, but what happened to Stephen?
Noland didn't care. He just tossed the phone into Stephen's locker and headed for the showers. He couldn't wait to explore his new body.
Stephen was freaking. He was disembodied-literally. He had been sucked into his phone after feeling the jolt. It took a few moments to realize where he was. His phone was in vibrate mode, so no one could hear his screams as he pounded on the glass on the other side of his phone's screen. He could see himself. He saw the locker racing toward him. He screamed not to throw the phone. He had no idea what would happen to him if the phone broke. The locker door slammed, and Stephen continued to pound and silently shout. At least until his screen light went out. Then Stephen suddenly felt weak and sleepy. He stopped struggling and zoned out. He vaguely wondered, if possibly he had taken a photo of himself, and those primitive natives were right about the photograph capturing a piece of your soul. Perhaps he was really out in the world living in his body, and the person trapped in his phone was a mirror image. Nah, he knew who he was, he needed to find out what was going on.
About a half hour later, Noland sat down in front of Stephen's locker, and was relieved that he hadn't locked it. What was Stephen's combo anyway. He opened the locker and slowly dressed in Stephen's clothing. He bumped the phone, and the screen came to life.
Stephen blinked and stared at his own ass, as the imposter pulled on his jeans. Stephen was apparently in the wallpaper, so he reached up and pulled down the volume controls, and switched it off vibrate mode.
"Hey!" Stephen shouted.
Noland spun around and stared at his phone, and the naked quarterback jumping up and down angrily, and shouting. Noland grabbed the phone, and plugged in his ear buds. No one else could hear now.
