"Hurry up, you oaf!" The wicked voice of Valeria is clear before Mary can even see her through the crowded market aisle. And once again she has Georg following behind her carrying a crate full of junk that Valeria wanted. Its obviously very heavy but she still whines about how slow he is. Mary rolls her eyes and thinks to herself 'Can this woman be nice to anybody?' They make their way further and further down the aisle until Valeria spots Mary selling a small wheel of cheese for jewels from a very enthusiastic merchant. Well she spots her face as the large man in front of her blocks her view of the rest of her. So the snake, going for a quick bite at the girl, waits in line while nonchalantly aiming her venom at Mary. "Oh my I should really be getting back to Joseph, my husband, soon. He never likes me being too far from his touch." Mary flinches but keeps trying to talk her customer down from giving her an ornate golden goblet as payment. "My dear husband Joseph, he has quite the earnest appetite for me. As soon as he got back from his travels last season, he just couldn't keep hs hands off my body. I though it would slow down after I got pregnant, but gods no. Joseph loves my growing curves as they are simply unmatched. I'm afraid he's going to keep giving me children for a while now."
Mary finally convinces the man to only give her a two fine emerald rings and he goes on his way with the small mishapened wheel of cheese. Valeria shoos Georg away back to their carts and prepares to face down the homely girl directly. She adjusts her full bosom in her dress to make them seem large, fixes part of her hair over her shoulder, and rests her hand with the wedding ring over her belly. But as she flips around to face Mary, homely she isn't. Valeria is dumbfounded, for the puny girl's face has somehow come attached to this goddesses body. Sure she is covered in possibly a worse dress than yesterday but every inch of her figure is perfect. Her height, her waist, her butt, her legs, her golden hair, and even her breast have all grown dramatically. Especially her breasts, which Valeria correctly fears are larger and more firm than her own.
Mary sees Valeria trying to make sense of her new form and smiles. "Hello Valeria. Did Joseph send you?"
Valeria stops staring and rubs her tummy protectively. "Joseph? Send me here? No, of course not."
"Oh well I though he would like to see what I have to offer him. I've picked up some new items I think he would be interested in." Mary leans back on her new wide hips and rubs her neck as she has some of the town's women do. Her hand glides over her neck and down to her chest where she briefly touches herself. Valeria huffs madly and taps her ring finger on her belly. "Joseph doesn't want you or your new items. He doesn't want them!"
"Well just to be sure I should probably stop by. I wouldn't want him to go wanting. A man has his needs after all." Valeria squeals angrily and stomps away back to their cart without another word. Once she's out of eyesight, Mary let's out a deep breath. "Whoa, I didn't think that would work. At least now I know I get under Valeria's skin now." Mary proudly finishes out the second day of market, taking extravagant and as small a payment as possible for her meager wares. But the men that come to her cart all seem to want to give her their prized ticket trades for almost nothing. Unknown to her, the magic of the amulet make men want to do anything for her, to please and court her. A bag of gold coins for a bundle of rosemary? Easy. A pair of wolf fur boots for a bar of handmade soap? Easy. One man gifted her his own bull just for the promise of seeing her tomorrow. By the end of the day, the men in Buttundonua have clearly discovered the enrapturing beauty of Mary. All except Joseph whose wife was keeping him plenty busy. Mary had to slip away from her many admirers to lead her new bull and cart full of treasures back home. No from town followed her home. Mary thought it was because they simply forgot where she lived. But in actuality the men of Buttundonua, resident and merchant alike, where preparing the market square for her visit tomorrow. The third day of the week long market would be interesting.
