I looked at the bags full of T-Shirts. I don't remember how many I bought. I had lost count after 30. 30 plus shirt that could change me in unimaginable ways. I wanted to simply throw these deep into a closet somewhere and be done with them, but some small part wanted to see what all of these shirts could do.
I pulled a shirt out of the pile of bags. It was lime green, practically neon. I carefully inspected it. Nothing was amiss. The front, the back and even the inside of the shirt appeared normal. While looking inside the collar, I saw the manufacturer's decal. It read, "Tangohussar Tees." I almost laughed at such a ridiculous name. I've never heard of them.
Before I put the green shirt on however, I opened up a spreadsheet. I typed, "Powder Blue: handsome male." I stood up and pulled the shirt over my head. The collar squeezed against my face as I finished putting in on. I immediately began to look myself over. Nothing seemed out of place. With 2 arms and 2 legs, 10 fingers and 10 toes, I appeared to be normal. A quick check underneath my pants revealed things to be as they should be. Yet, something felt off, like there was something just beyond my senses had been changed drastically.
I entered my bathroom to look at myself in the mirror. My eye widened at what stared back at me. My forehead and upper face had been filled with a large, singular eye. The green shirt had turned me into a Cyclops. I moved my hand in front of my new face, admiring the novelty of my new perspective.
I took the shirt off as I returned to my computer and typed, "Lime Green: Cyclops." I grabbed another shirt. This one was a pale yellow. I walked back to the bathroom before put this one on. I slid into the yellow shirt. My head popped out of the neck hole with a completely new perspective. I must have made the most confused face I had ever made in my life. My left arm and head had swapped places.
I silently stood in my bathroom, staring at myself for a few moments, processing what had just happened. I don't know what I was expecting, but I certainly wasn't expecting that. I experimented with my new body, seeing all of the strange positions it could make.
Taking the shirt off was an adventure. I withdrew my neck arm and my right arm, followed by my head. After a second-or-two of struggling, I has in my underware again and my head was where in was supposed to be.
I put the tee in on a pile with the Cyclops Shirt and the Male Shirt. I entered, "Pale Yellow: left arm and head switch places."
I looked at the pile of unworn and untested magical shirts and snickered. "Those are some wild shirts," I said to myself, aloud. I can only wonder what surprises these shirts have in store of me.
