“Kumi,” Mika sighed. “Listen we can hit the town another night Okay? Right now I gotta a bunch of questions for Kellie here.”
“Your no fun,” Kumiko frowned before turning. “Fine, Another night but you owe me Mika.” Kellie and Claudia giggled as Mika buried her head in her hand. Kellie now wished Kumiko back to 16. The girls watched as a grumpy looking Kumiko began to age backwards. Kumiko sadly watched as her breasts began to reduce back to b cups while her curves began to flatten. The girls face also began to lose the maturity of her twenties as she became a teenager once more. In only moments a 16 year old Kumiko sadly examined her body.
“This sucks,” she groaned. “I was super hot.”
“Later Kumi,” Mika groaned. Taking a deep breath she looked towards Kellie curiously. “Okay Kellie, I need to know everything about this...other timeline. What else can you tell us? What were we like and why can’t you go back.”
Kellie grinned as she looked at Mika, obviously this version of Mika was a lot more curious than the one she knew. Looking the girls over she sighed, she already told them quite a bit, she might as well clue them in to everything else (minus the fact she erased Katie and Lisa).
“Alright I’ll tell you,” she said. “In the reality I was in I was friends with Mika, Claudia, Samantha, Mary Elise and Katie.”
“Where was Lisa?” Kumiko asked. “Was she a grandma too?”
“Actually Lisa was Katie’s aunt in my reality,” Kellie said causing everyone’s jaws to drop. “Lisa was Katie’s aunt,” Claudia exclaimed. “If that’s the case then how the hell are they twins now. In fact how the hell is Kumi, Mika’s aunt. Is this some sort of twin verse or something.”
“No not a twin verse,” Kellie laughed causing Claudia to blush. “Actually I really don’t know how Lisa and Katie became twins, it’s still kinda of a mystery. Kumiko though is an interesting story.”
“Well share,” Kumiko said. “I want to know how I went from knitting dollies to being this awesome.”
Mika groaned as the girls laughed at Kumikos statement. “Well like I said Kumiko was Mika’s grandma,” she said. “Like I said Mika’s parents weren’t exactly the nicest people. They actually kicked Mika out of her house, she was staying with Claudia for a couple of weeks.”
Claudia and Mika now looked at eachther blushing slightly as they tried to imagine what that would be like. “Anyway Mika kind of missed having a family, Kumiko was the only one who cared about her. Unfortunately Kumiko was 90, so....we decided as a group to make Kumiko Mika’s 35 year old aunt.”
“Ugh that’s old too,” Kumiko mumbled. “Why did you make me that old?”
“Cause that’s how old Lisa was,” Kellie stated. “When we changed Kumiko reality shifted so that you two were now best friends that worked together in the fashion industry.”
“Awesome,” Kumiko exclaimed. “I had a cool job and was still besties with Lisa. Guess were just too good to be split up no matter what reality we’re in.” The girls laughed as Kumiko continued to gloat over her possible future. “Alright,” Claudia said. “So you told us about Mika, Kumi, and Lisa and a little about me. What were Sammy, Katie, and Mary like?”
“Katie was pretty much the same,” Kellie shrugged. “Very sweet, very cute and just...a really loving and caring person.” Mika narrowed her eyes as she looked at the expression on Kellies face. “Wait a minute,” she said. “Were you two...TOGETHER!”
Kellie blushed as she now shyly turned away from the girls. “Ummm Yeah,” she whispered. “In my reality Mika and Claudia weren’t the only couple. Katie and me were together and our parents fully supported it.”
The girls now stood in awkward silence as they looked at Kellie. Judging by her body language they could tell that Kellie was crushed to have lost Katie. Slowly Claudia approached her, giving Kellie a tight hug. “It’s okay,” she whispered noticing a single tear fall down Kellies cheek. Turning Kellies face towards her she smiled warmly.
“Listen Kel,” she said. “We’ve got time to find out about everything else in your other reality. Tonight though I think it’s enough.” Kellie nodded sadly as she took a deep breath. “Thanks,” Kellie sighed. Claudia smiled as she looked at her new friend. “Just looking at you I can tell you really miss Katie,” she said. “Personally I don’t know if Katie is into girls. She’s...well always been the responsible one and hasn’t had time to date. What I do know is that I appreciate you telling all of us this secret. We won’t tell anyone else what you said, that’s your choice but...we will try our best to get you two back together.”
“Really,” Kellie whispered in shocked.
“Hell Yeah,” Kumiko yelled. “Always wanted to play match maker.”
“I’m in too,” Mika said. “Who knows maybe you’re here to get the whole gang back together.”
“Thanks guys,” Kellie said sweetly. The girls now smiled as they embraced each other in a tight hug. Kellie smiled feeling her cheeks become damp with tears. She had reconnected with some of her friends, now if she could only fix the damage she had done from before then maybe she could truly call this place home.
