After helping to move Claire into the house, Tad left the house to go and hang out with Amy. Since it was getting late and it was a school night, the two of them decided to stay home and talk. Currently, Tad and Amy were in Amy’s room.
“So, how did the move in go?” Amy asked, sitting at the foot of her bed.
“It went well,” Tad said. He was sitting next to Amy as he talked. “Claire got her stuff to the house, and everything that wasn’t going to the house went to a storage unit.” He was quiet for a minute before saying, “It’s kinda weird...”
“How so?”
“Well, as happy as I am for my mom to find love again, it’s so weird to see her dating another woman. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against it. Claire’s a very nice woman, and I won’t mind her living with us. It’ll just take some time to get used to...”
“Yeah, I can see how that’d be weird,” Amy responded. “But this stuff is normal for weres. Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it soon enough.”
