It was their mom. She came into the room and saw the 2 plush anthro foxes that were Zack and Alex. "So he got 2 more foxes." she commented with a sigh. She left the room looking for her sons still. Alex was over the moon. Mom had called him a fox. Alex was finally a fox (though a plush one). Mom looked all over the house for her sons but couldn't find them. She even asked their 9 yrs old sister Mary if she'd seen them. She replied "Not for awhile." After an hour their mom figured both had left somewhere together for vacation and thought nothing more about it. After a few monthes the brothers returned to human. Alex went back to college the next day. 4 days later Alex got a text from Zack.
The text read:
'Can I be your plush fox again?'
This sparked feelings and thoughts that Alex had been trying to bury but to no avail.
Alex texted back:
'Since I was a plush fox with you I haven't felt right.'
Zack replied back:
'You don't feel right as a human do you?'
That floored Alex. Zack was totally right.
'I need to be plush again.' Alex typed to Zack.
'Come home and I'll make your plush fox self again.'
Zack texted back. Alex jumped up, pocketed his phone and ran out of his dormroom like a bat out of hell.
