"Good morning, Edette." Came the voice of Lady Everette, who sat at the kitchen table in a pink bathrobe with the family's name embroidered on the left breast. You visibly jumped and would swallow hard before facing the mother of your one true love. "G-Good morning, Lady Everette! I trust you slept well?" You asked, not noticing the faint blush on your cheeks. The female would simply chuckle and lean back, taking a sip of coffee. "I did, yes. You and Leonard must have been doing for of that "exercise" that you always go on about. I heard you two all the way in here." Your blush deepened in color to the Lady's Glee, laughing to herself again.
You made your way to the fridge and would take out the eggs and sausage for Leonard, just how he liked. The air was silent as his mother would just sit and watch you, her eyes piercing through you. "So Edette, I trust you've taken a fancy for my son? He was in need of such companionship. I'm certain glad you filled in." She would walk over to you before her hands would begin to play with your hair. You remained silent as she comes tinted to toy with you. "Just make sure to use that closet. It's much more llthan it lets on." She winked at you before sitting back down as the dish was fully cooked.
Taking it back to Leonard, you handed the dish to him and then looked at the closet again, wondering what could be inside. But you had so much to do still. Torn between choices, you stood there with a frowned in your face.
