When she got home, Cassie managed to hide from her family and got to her room. She opened her wardrobe and saw that all her clothes had been replaced with toddler clothes in her size.
She then looked at her underwear and saw there were no bras and all her panties were diapers. Then behind her, Rachel said “that’s right littl’in, I’ve got you for the next two months because of your parents ‘unplanned holiday’ and your staying like this!”
Cutting forward two weeks Cassie was crying as she had peed herself again despite trying her best to not. Rachel walked in with a smile on her face. “Cmon Cassie” she said with a sing songy voice, “we’ve got a haircut appointment today”. Cassie spat out her pacifier and screamed “no!”, her hair had barely grown but she was so attached with those extra inches.
Rachel came over to her and said “it’s looking scraggly and needs a trim, but if you’re not coming then I’ll have to do it”. Cassie shook her head as she knew what was coming. “Transform or dare” Cassie just screamed no again. “Both then” Rachel replied “your dare is to go along with everything me and the hairdresser says and your transformation is to fall over a lot more, like a toddler!”
The walk down was agonising for Cassie, Rachel had dressed her in a denim dress with flowers on the front. And as if that wasn’t enough it was short enough to expose her diaper if she bent over or sat down. Her hair was once again in pigtails and she was sucking a pacifier. And the cherry on top was she fell over every couple of steps. She felt self conscious but no one else noticed, they just saw a toddler.
They arrived at the hairdressers and went inside. Rachel took Cassie over to the reception (which had the same hairdresser as two weeks earlie) and kneeled down to speak to her, “right then Cassie, I know barbie has longer hair than this and so does Elsa, but they don’t have to go to school each day and get their hair stuck in the swing” she gave a facial expression that (incorrectly) suggested that this happened when Cassie had longer hair to the hairdresser. “But you need to be brave and get this done, now say ‘I’ll do this Rachel’ and sit down”. Cassie couldn’t do anything but repeat Rachel’s words and sit down in the empty chair, falling over on the way there.
The hairdresser approached and said “don’t worry, it looks so cute, and who needs ponytails anyway” completely oblivious to the fact that her hair was in a ponytail. Cassie started crying because of this but the hairdresser told her to keep her head still unless she moved it and she complied.
The hairdresser got to work, she started with Cassie’s fringe, cutting of the extra inch that had grown over the past two weeks. She then moved onto the back of her head, cutting high up her neck. Then finally the sides, cutting at chin length.
She then grabbed two pink ribbons and tied very short high pigtails with a bow on each. Cassie was still crying, she missed having long hair the most because with it she could at least look grownup. As a result she had grown very attached to the extra length that had grown on her babyish hair.
Rachel approached and told her she looked cute before answering her phone. “Great news Cassie!” She said gleefully “your parents have added another month on their holiday!”. At this news Cassie cried even more, the hairdresser remarking “aww, does she miss her parents” which she did but that wasn’t the cause of her crying, the cause was the thought of spending an extra month being forced to look like and being treated like a toddler. But then, the worries went away as Rachel put Cassie’s pacifier in her mouth.
