Jennifer had arrived at the Zoo's Stables an hour before Steve. She had been a bit surprised to learn that a Zoo had Stables, that was not something she usually expected for Zoos, but she had always loved horses so she didn't really care. When she arrived she was surprised to see two foals looking out from their stalls at her curiously.
She smiled as she walked up to the stalls and looked at them with a smile. "Aww, you two are so cute!" She said as she stroked their manes a little.
"Indeed they are," a female voice said and Jennifer turned to see a zoo attendant woman coming up behind her. "Would you like to get closer to them?"
"Can I?" Jennifer asked.
"Of course," the attendant said as she smiled at Jennifer, noticing the woman's horse ears already having formed and her tail starting to poke out of her pants while her mane turned cream-yellow.
The attendant opened up the stalls and lead them out back with Jennifer close behind. She smiled as the two foals nuzzled her a little. "They certainly are friendly."
"Indeed, a shame they lost their parents," the attendant said. "They were sold to a farm but they didn't take the foals for some reason. A shame, especially at their age. We're still working on ways to help them."
"Aww, what a shame," Jennifer said as she hugged the foals as best she could, she didn't even notice as her chest was barreling out and her nipples were migrating down her body as she was struggling to stay upright. Her clothes strained against her transforming body as she finally fell forward onto all fours.
"But, I think we finally have the perfect mare," the attendant said as Jennifer's nipples became mare teats that started to fill with milk. Her face pushed out into a muzzle as her tail finished, before she was even aware of what was happening, she was already a full horse and started to graze.
The two foals moved in closer and started to nurse at their new mother's teats. Jennifer looked back at her nursing foals, she remembered being bred and later giving birth to the two. They were the sweetest filly and colt ever, and generally they liked having fun.
After awhile the attendant came back outside and smiled as the foals were running together. She looked at Jennifer and sighed a little, she didn't want to have to do this, but it was only going to be temporary anyway. She took out her phone and input commands as the mare's body shrunk back into that of a human woman.
She had checked Jennifer's purse and found a photo of her and her boyfriend. While there were a lot of ways he could be turned, she wanted to be more insidious.
"What the... what's going on?" Jennifer asked as she looked around confused and the foals looked just as confused. "Why did you do that?"
"Jennifer, I have a job for you," the attendant said as she gave the girl some new clothes. "Your boyfriend is supposed to meet you here isn't he?"
"Yeah, Steve, I wound up being a bit early," Jennifer said as she put her clothes on confused. "Why did you turn me back into a human? The foals need..."
"Yes, I know, and you're going to be their mother again," the attendant said with a smile. "But first you have to do a job for me. We're in need of stallions given that we don't have a lot of them in the Stables. If you'll transform your boyfriend, then I'll let you go back to your horse form."
Jennifer looked surprised for a moment, she honestly wasn't sure what to say. While she had been born human, she had actually enjoyed being a horse more and she wanted to be the foal's mother. Steve was nice, but those foals needed their mother more than she needed him. She put her clothes on before she finally nodded in agreement.
"Okay, I'll do it," she said.
"Alright, wait for him to arrive and then take him out to the lake," the attendant said with a smile.
Soon she'd have both a stud and a broodmare. The foals had been children who had been transformed separate from their parents, and it was true that they lacked a mother, but most people were more interested in sex than anything else. Jennifer was going to do just fine, and she smiled as she thought about all the horses she was going to transform.
She headed in to meet with Steve, and Jennifer followed not long after.
