Slowly David's toe then foot, and leg began to burn like fire as the serum worked its way up and into his body. Up, up, and up it came making his skin prickle like having goosebumps but not a chilling feeling, instead it was as if the muscles, skin and even bones were on fire.
The seringe poked into the back of his hand was also doing the same. Yet from its serum the feeling was one of itching skin which with his hands cuffed he had no way to scratch.
"Is all this necessary?" asked David showing early signs of his growing discomforts.
The Lady looked up from her study of papers which had compiled on her desk. She thought for a second and then answered, "No its not necessary, just a good way to watch one feel and realize their coming change. As you in time will come to appreciate the animal Demon your becoming, I on the otherhand will enjoy the show of haunting thoughts as shown by those rntering theor final changes. It alway delights me to hear their last worried babblings till the serum effects inflict that lasting bestial calm."
"Then other than being a wierd science freak, your a massacist!" replied David as his whole body jerked from a leg cramp.
"Yes I find looking at those in pain invigorating! To me seeing someone reeling in discomfort, especially men gives me satisfaction as the male of my species makes for the females many different ways to have pain." argued back the Lady.
Suddenly a jolt of fire like searing pain streaked up David's backbone making his entire body shake in convoltions. The Lady stood there her arms folded over her chest smiling in obvious delight.
"Your present agony will last about one hour. The serum reaction has spread into the main nervous system making the nerve cells fight for their survival. Its a vain try but they make one feel the battle by causing great pain, do try to enjoy it well!" said the Lady as then even the Eunuch brothers stood close to watch.
David, his fingers clenched tight in response to the pains jolting up his spine. Suspended in the air his whole body jerks about with wave after searing wave of pain racks up, up, and up ever closer to his head and brain.
At last keeping silent is just impossible as David begin to scream and scream louder with each drawn breath.
"Yes, yes David hear me is coming up the spinal collum a vertebra at a time. The coming changes effect each bone of your frame before jumping to the next. Like a chain of links it turns the body to become a prison to one's self. What you were is not any longer what you are and the sensations of animalistic form ensues as the human mind fights for rational thoughts to continue. In time though your desire for sensual sensations shall bring the mind to accept what the body has and David shall cease to exsist!" says the Lady as watching she begins to laugh.
David strains to keep his sanity as waves of pain rack him he thinks of his past, his friends, his family, the joys he had when younger and those vacation times when he had so much fun. Anything and everything he strains to remember if just to try and ignor the agony he is feeling at the moment.
"Are we having fun yet?" groans out a question from David.
