Patrick Anderson was a 29 year old man. He actually wanted to be a elf kid. The thought of living a carefree life as a elf child who never aged was certainly appealing to him.
Patrick looked out his window and saw some elf children. This was his chance. Patrick raced outside and ran up to the kids. "Hey, I know this is gonna seem weird, but I really want to be an elf kid too." Patrick said abruptly.
The kids giggled, but not in a mean way. The group of five kids, three girls and two boys all scooped up two snow balls in each hand and threw them all at Patrick, all ten snow balls hitting their mark.
Patrick felt different, happier, more carefree as the kids used their magic to create a full sized mirror for him to watch his transformation into a happy go lucky elf kid.
Patrick saw himself getting shorter, no younger.
The younger he got, the more of an elf he became. Before long his clothes, which had become baggy, became a green shirt with long white sleeves with red stripes, green shorts with white leggings having red stripes, and green shoes that curled up into swirls at the tips, topped off with jingle bells.
"Well how do you feel?" An Asian elf boy, named Ken asked cheerfully.
"I feel so happy!!" Patrick grinned as hugged Ken, who was happy that his new friend was happy.
A black elf kid named Adam chimed in.
"There's only one thing missing" he said, using elf magic to create an elf hat to complete Patrick's outfit.
Patrick gratefully accepted the hat and put it on. A perfect fit!
Patrick joined his new friends. In addition to Ken and Adam, the group consisted of a Latino girl named Susie, a Native American named Lilly, and a Arabic girl named Grace.
The whole group welcomed Patrick into their group with open arms.. literally. Patrick embraced them, which lead to a group hug.
