"We must do something Joey" said my mum, “We need to fix this.”
She picked my sister and examined her plastic figure. She was fascinated by her daughter’s new form.
“No sense in changing her back… she always was a mistake.” I stood back shocked to hear my mother
say this. “Joe,” she said, “for my second wish, I want you to make all of your sister’s thing belong to me,
and to erase all memory of your sister ever existing. Make her permanently trapped as a Barbie doll that
also belongs to me. And as her things now belong to me, make me your sister.”
I couldn’t believe what I heard. Erase my sister? Could I… Would I? “Why?” I said.
“You sister is repulsive, and I want my youth back.” Said my mum.
Reluctantly, I granted my mother’s wish. I couldn’t tell any difference at first, but then my mother said
“Hey bro! What happened to my clothes.” Pointing at the pile of clothes.
“Do you remember Amanda?” I asked.
“Who’s Amanda?” she replied.
I checked my phone to find my sister’s contact missing. My former mum grabbed her clothes her doll
and went to what was once my sister’s room.
I erased my sister. I actually did it. There was no trace of her. No emails, no preschool drawings, no
yearbook photos. She was erased from history. I felt so powerful. The world was in the palm of my hand.
I could hear my mum turned sister in the other room, playing with her new toys. Overcome with power,
I made a wish.
