"Excuse me, the boss wants to have a word with you" a voice said from behind the attendant and she blinked when she turned to see zoo security standing there. They both looked like large gorillas and she gulped a little, knowing that they were here for her.
"What? Why?" She asked and blinked in surprise when she saw the previously stolen horses being returned to their stalls. "How did they..."
"You should know that escaping the Zoo isn't an easy task, and we have some new subjects as well," a new voice said and an anthro zebra dressed in a suit came in and she gulped a little. "Don't bother with your disguise anymore Victoria, there aren't any humans around."
Steven Parker was one of the owners of the Zoo, and like the others he had completely abandoned his humanity awhile back in favor of animal traits. The owners and the attendants despised humans and everything they stood for, and only took on human forms when other humans were around.
The attendant, Victoria, gulped a little but she didn't argue as her body grew larger and formed out into an anthro spotted Appaloosa mare. She knew that the owners only showed up when someone was in real trouble, and she was afraid to even ask what was going to happen next.
"What are you doing here, sir?"
"You've handled the situation badly here," Steven said as he circled around her. "Two attempts to steal our horses, four escapees, even if we were able to recover all our animals, you still made mistakes. You're being replaced, and you know what that means."
Victoria gulped, like everyone else who had worked here she had started human only to be transformed into an anthro animal when she took the job. She enjoyed on occasion going full horse, but never permanently, being replaced meant that she was going to lose her humanity once and for all.
And there was no running, he'd catch her just like he caught the other escapees.
"Are you going to resist?" Steven said as he took out a syringe.
"No..." she said.
"Hold her anyway," Steven said as the two Gorillas reached out and grabbed her as the Zebra stallion walked forward with the syringe and prepared to inject her.
