Transform or Dare?

Pick a choice - 1

added 5 years ago O

Jen blinked a couple of times, but the text wasn't disappearing. Shrugging it off, she hoped continuing with what she was busy with before the phone call would help it to go away.

She stared in front of her as she walked up the stairs by memory, but most of what hit her vision was blocked by the letters that kept floating in front of her, causing her to practically become blind. It reached its peak as she entered her room, in hopes of finding her missing clothes pieces. She took a corner too sharply, and hit her small toe against the edge of her closet. She kept herself from swearing out loud, but was hopping around her room for a moment while holding her wounded toe with both her hands.

With a loud sigh, she sat herself on her bed, defeated, and closed her eyes. To her annoyance, even then, the text in front of her didn't disappear. To adapt to the darkness, they'd just turn white, saying the same thing. 'Fine!' Jen thought, what is it saying anyway? She concentrated, and focused on the three separate columns. She read them one by one in disgust:

1. Bestial tendencies:
A mental change. If one goes, one goes hard. If feelings of lust develop on anyone, they'll not disappear until they're satisfied, preferably by somebody else. Follow your instincts, reproduction is the goal of life! The changes will affect everyone, and reality adapts, meaning no one will deem it bizarre.

2. The Vaņara experience:
A physical change. A strange drug was developed by a company gone mad. People who came into contact with the drug, would undergo the craziest of transformations, and you've also fallen victim to it. The changes can affect everyone, but reality will only adapt to have people inherit the knowledge of the drug. People know the drugs exist, but will deem changes as bizarre.

3. Mind reading:
A mental change. People haven't shown their worst/best to others yet. They keep it to themselves. Only you know what they're like, and you'll have to cope with their judgement. Would you want that, as a young adult? You are the only one affected by the changes. Reality won't adapt to the changes, meaning it'd be better if you kept your newfound power a secret.

Jennifer realized she regretted what she did to Kyle. What kind of messed up fantasies are these? And she had to live with one of them? What choice did she have to make?
