Tiffany rang the door bell and a second later an adult Kathy answered. She didn't look pregnant, so Tiffany figured that either Jenny (Jacob) hadn't been born yet, or she had been born.
Kathy looked down at the girl and smiled. "You're here for the babysitting, right?"
Babysitting? Hey, if it got her inside the house. "Yeah, sorry I'm late."
"No, you're right on time," Kathy said, "I'm Kathy, and you are?"
She almost said Tim, but remembered that she was now a girl. "Tiffany."
"Nice to meet you, Tiffany," Kathy said, grabbing her purse, "My daughter is upstairs sleeping in her crib. I'll be back in a few hourse. Thanks again. Bye."
Tiffany waited until Kathy left before running upstairs. She opened the door to the room that should have belonged to Jacob, and saw a teenage boy's room. She ran over to the desk and saw a notebook with the name "Sean," on it.
"Sean?" she said, "I don't remember Jacob having anybody in his family named Sean. It must be a side effect or something."
She searched through the hall before finding a baby girl's room with the name tag "Jenny" on the door. Tiffany breathed a sigh of relif. Here was her best friend, sleeping inside of the crib. She had to find that computer and return Jenny back to Jacob, or spend the rest of her life as a girl.
