Little sister makes some major edits

added by GrimlyGramly 5 years ago O

Jeff sat on his desktop for the better part of an hour, completely undisturbed. "I didn't consider how boring this would be," he thought to himself. He was completely immobile, so he was forced stare at his ceiling. He watched his fan lazily spin, and thought, "I really wish someone would pick me up."

As if on cue, he heard the door open, followed by the distinctive giggling of his little sister Alyssa. Her giggling stopped when she saw that Jeff wasn't in the room-at least, as far as she knew. Jeff, meanwhile, waited anxiously. Soon enough, the 11 year old girl's face entered his vision. "A diary?" Alyssa asked, incredulously. She then smiled mischievously, and picked up Jeff. She darted into her room, and closed the door behind her.

Jeff was quite nervous. "What does she have in mind?" he thought. "Is she just going to read me, and tell her friends some of my embarrassing secrets? Or is she going to-" Jeff's thoughts were interrupted when he saw Alyssa brandish a red pen. "This will be the perfect way to mess with him!" She then opened Jeff, forcing him to stare at her table while she flipped through his pages.

"She's going to make changes? Will that affect my memories?" Jeff thought, anxiously. "Well, there's only one way to find out."

Alyssa continued to flip through Jeff, occasionally laughing at a page and marking it with a sticky note. Jeff then heard her say, "Ooo, he wrote about cousin Tommy's wedding? He sure seems to have a crush on Tori!" The memory flashed back into Jeff's mind. His family went to his cousin Tommy's wedding when Jeff was 14, and he pretty much fell in love with Tommy's bride, named-

Jeff drew a blank. He couldn't remember her name at all! Unbeknownst to him, Alyssa had just finished crossing Tori's name off the page. Although Jeff felt her penstrokes, he couldn't seem to make the connection that they were the cause of his lapse in memory. Meanwhile, Alyssa started to write another name in place of Tori's.

"Dammit, how can I not remember her name?" thought Jeff. "She was the best part of the whole wedding! Her long black hair that went down to her thighs, my perfectly manicured hands, my perfectly applied make-up, and let's not forget the dress! Yes, I was the best part of the whole wedding, along with Tommy. Oh, how I love that man," Jeff thought, as Alyssa finished writing in Jeff's name over the places she crossed out Tori's. Now Jeff remembered getting married to his cousin, and loving how great he looked at the wedding. Meanwhile, Alyssa found every mention of Jeff's girlfriend in the book, and crossed it out. Soon, Jeff had no memory of her. Instead, he only remembered Tommy.

Alyssa sat in her chair, laughing like a hyena. "He'll be so mad when he sees that!" she said to herself. "Now, what else to change?"

"Change?" Jeff thought. "But she didn't change anything?"

Alyssa was about to get back to writing, but her mother knocked on the door. "Alyssa, your friends are here!" Alyssa had forgotten about her playdate. She smiled at Jeff wickedly, and quickly exited the room.

Jeff felt uneasy. "If only Tommy were here to protect me," he thought. "Then I wouldn't have to worry about Alyssa's nonsense."
