Reija and Alex kept searching around the castle, they inspected every inch of the castle, they didn't find anything of interest, so it seemed.
Eventually they reached the same room where Reija previously found the tomes of magic, she gave an annoyed growl, "God damn it, Alex we've been in this room before! Can we just go and search around the village? Maybe we might find something of interest there." said Reija, Alex looked at Reija and gave an angry look, "...We inspected it for about a minute, meanwhile we inspected the other rooms for over 10 minutes! Come on, there might be something here." he said, while looking around again in the so called library, Reija growled again in frustration, "I swear, you sound even more stubborn than before." she said, Alex chuckled a little while he kept looking around, from time to time he would look around into some spell tomes, meanwhile Reija just looked around, ignoring the books and the shelves containing the books.
Alex kept looking around untill he stumbled upon something that caught his interest, it looked like a paw of a dragon imprinted on a wall, he looked at his scaly hand and slowly placed on in the imprinted paw in the wall, suddenly it looked like the entire room lightened up, this caught Reija by suprise, "Alex what did you do?!" she shouted, shorlty after they both heared the sound of stone moving, "Reija come here!" shouted Alex, Reija slowly went to Alex and saw that near the imprinted paw was a new entrance, Alex slowly tried to enter it but was pulled back by Reija, "Careful... It might be a trap." said Reija with a worried tone in her voice, Alex sighed, "Maybe there's something there that might help us in a way or the other." he said.
The two looked at eachother and quickly nodded, venturing deeper into the castle.
Eventually Alex and Reija reached another room that seemed to be filled with artifacts and weapons, by seeing this Reija growled, "Again? Another room filled with relics?" she asked, she felt like she was gonna reach her boiling point, "Alex are you sure this is a good idea? Those... Things... Could make our situation even far worse than imaginable." she continued as she looked around, noticing that the room was filled with more relics than the previous one, "Wait.. Think about it, that room might have been some form of bait, specially made for thieves that wanted to steal those relics, maybe this one is the actual room with artifacts that could help us." spoke Alex, as he looked around, Reija at first was hesitant but as she thinked about it, it made sense, maybe this room could help them both in way or the other, she and Alex quickly started inspecting every artifact in the room.
At first Alex came across a mirror, as he looked at it he saw his blurred reflection, as he touched it, the view of the mirror changed into he was thinking, he saw a forest, full of lush green grass and tall trees with apples growing on them, he retreated his hand, noticing that the view of the mirror changed into his blurred reflection again.
Meanwhile Reija looked at the weaponry, she came across a sword that resembled a crescent moon, she slowly touched the handle and saw that the blade was coated in unknown energy, she slowly grabbed the sword and swinged it around, it was relativly light, she carried with her incase something or someone decided to attack her or her dear brother.
Eventually Reija saw what it looked like a talisman ontop of a pedestal, she slowly went near it and saw an inscription written in the stone, "Only those who wield a kind heart, may unlock the talisman's full potential." she mentally read, Reija slowly picked the talisman up, she looked at the stone that resembled a ruby, she looked at her brother who was reading a book, "Please... Please work..." she begged in her mind, then she slowly pointed the talisman at Alex and saw that it started emenating a small light.
