While the UFC-A was getting planned, there was another event also being planned. The Animalia Bodybuilding Circuit (A-BC) would be hosting its first official showcase/match. The reason for this was because of the popularity of the IAC's own Bodybuilding Competition. There were some things that were similar to the last one, but there were also some clear differences.
First off, those who had already won awards in the IAC would only be present for the Opening Ceremony/Showcase to "warm up the crowd", so to speak. This was because it wouldn't really be fair to the newest members to the Circuit to go up against IAC champions.
There was also a decision to include some new elements to the "feats of strength" competition. Mainly because bending bars out of shape was starting to get boring. There were also some feats involving rock breaking, and the most extreme (only available to the super-heavyweights and the ultraheavyweights), wall smashing. There was a request for squeezing tree trunks in half, but that generated so many lewd comments that it was ultimately dropped.
There was also some changes to the Freestyle Posedown, mainly involving showing off to music. This was partly to show off Animalians improved flexibility as well as their musculature.
The main thing was to stagger the events, mainly because Project White Lily wanted to compete in both the A-BC and the UFC-A, even if Anton and Marlysa wouldn't be going up against them (at least not in this competition). Also there were plans to include an Animalia Martial Arts Showcase (mainly at the suggestion of the Five Elementals), but they were intrigued by the A-BC so they were allowed to "try it out" so to speak.
There was also a request for the first members of Project Hermaphroditus to be in the A-BC, but that was simply out of the question until they got their new hormones under control. No good scarring the members of the audience with ill-timed erections, no matter how much people would say that they wouldn't be offended by it (no doubt due to ol' mister internet).
There were also some plans to move some of the after party to the Meat Market due to a single event that had to be removed from the official coverage due to not being appropriate for children. It involved a female Japanese tourist throwing her panties at the male fox Animalian competitor (don't ask me, I don't know why) during the Japanese subdivision of the competition and getting ejected from the audience. Fortunately, after the competition, she managed to get a dinner date with the target of her throw, mainly to get her to explain her actions.
However, the main thing that people were looking forward to was the official opening of Project Dinotopia to the public. While many of them would be doing their own favorite dinosaur, those who had conditions "treatable" by the virus would get a 50% discount. While many people would be disappointed that there wouldn't be an opening match of the Mesozoic Fight Club until next year (many wanted to see Heather go up against a Spinosaurus Dinotopian), there would still be a showcase of the first volunteers, including a bodybuilding showcase.
