Isaac was distracted from his decision when he noticed two things. A torn satchel on the ground containing what looked like a manuscript... and a big green ugly troll. The troll was enacting what Isaac surmised the troll believed was stealth, but in reality couldn't be farther from the truth.
Isaac knew the best way to deal with trolls was to ignore them. The most you paid attention to them, the more they'd just make your life miserable, and if you didn't paid them mind, they'd eventually get bored and move onto some other distraction.
As trolls are prone to do, the troll explained its own plain to itself outloud, least it forget its own scheme halfway through.
"HEHE! Stupid human! Again sending his little stories via messenger through these lands! Now I shall take his own stories, and pass them off as my own stories with only changing a couple things to mock him! And everyone will think I big smart troll!!!"
But the moment the troll grabbed the manuscript... it glowed and burst into blue flames that covered the troll's body. The troll screamed in agony as its body shrank down, twisting, its skin turning pale and smooth. Isaac had to shield his eyes as the hot blue flames ate at the troll's body, mind and soul...
Finally the manuscript was no more, and neither was the troll... what had been the troll was now a petit young human-(ish) woman in a maid's uniform, long blue hair went down her back, matching her blue cat's tail sticking out of her skirt. She also had a pair of pretty blue cat ears on top of her head. Her big blue eyes came into focus and she looked at Isaac. She smiled, then curtsied.
"Master, how may I serve you?"
