Jake looked through the spy hole and saw her best friend, Sam, she quickly looked at herself, "Oh god what do i say?!" she quietly shouted, she had no choice but to answer, she slowly unlocked the door and opened it.
Sam waited for the door to open untill he heard the lock switching, he saw the beautiful Phoenix that was his friend, "Uhm... Excuse me ma'am, do you know where Jake is?" asked Sam quietly, by hearing this Jake gulped, she and Sam planed to watch a movie together but she forgot about it when she arrived home, she paused for a few seconds thinking of an answer, "W-What can i do? Should i lie to him?" she thought, "No, he'll get angry with me." Jake thought again, she had no choice, she needed to tell him the truth.
"Uhm... Sam, belive it or not but i'm Jake." she said with an embarassed voice and a blush under her feathers, by just hearing this Sam gave a suprised look, "You're lying right?" he asked but Jake quickly shook her head, Sam still didn't belive that the creature before him is his friend, "I don't belive you, tell me where is J-" started Sam only to be intrerupted by Jake, "Your name is Sam Garnus, you're currently 18 years old and study to become a doctor, you've meet me at kindergarten and from there to now we're best friends, now do you belive me?" she asked, Sam was suprised after hearing this, he didn't know what to say, was this creature infront of him saying the truth or was he tricking him? "Jake, what happend to you?" Asked Sam, "Why are you a bird? And most importantly, why are you a girl?!" he suddenly asked, Jake looked like she was about to tear up, "I-I don't know! I don't even know if you will trust me." she said, Sam noticed that she was indeed about to cry, "Don't worry, i belive you, let me come in and you can explain everything." said Sam giving Jake a hug, feeling her warm feathers, Jake also hugged Sam tightly, she then let him enter her house, they both slowly went to the living room and sat on the couch, "Come on, tell me what happend." said Sam looking at his friend, Jake took a deep breath and began explaining, "So, after i came home i decided to go on a walk towards the forest, after walking around for a few minutes i stumbled upon a waterfall and felt tired, after i took a nap i woke up only to find a pathway leading to a dead part of the forest, i reached what it looked like the middle of it and i saw a pedestal with a feather ontop of it, it almost resembled the one of a peacock but it was orange and had details of green and blue, after i touched it my entire clothes caught fire, it didn't hurt but after the flames extinguished i saw that all of my clothes and hair disapeared, probably due to the heat and then it turned me into... This..." she said as she slowly looked at her feathery breasts.
Sam didn't know what to say, he kept looking at his friend untill she spoke again, "I think i'm some form of werebird, or something like that." she said only to then give him a sad look, "Y-You don't belive me do you? I-I understand..." said Jake, she looked like she was about to tear up again but she felt her friend grabbing her gently, hugging her only to kiss her beak, by just seeing this Jake blushed, "You may be some form of female bird. But you're still my friend and i care about you." he said, this made Jake hug him tighter only to quickly break the hug, she looked at him with a smile, "U-Uhm, what do we do now?" she asked.
Sam laughed a little, "Well, why don't we...."
