Rei got a lurching feeling similar to nausea as the infant...hatchling...dragon played at his forefeet. "Uhhhhh, gonna be sick," he mumbled. He tried to ignore it as the little hatchling squirmed at his feet while its toothless visage made piping attempts at speech. The longer he tried to ignore it, though, the more the lurching progressed. He realized that the lurching was more in a low part of his throat, rather than truly his stomach, but it felt about the same as ordinary nausea. He was finding the hatchling to be literally nauseatingly cute.
As the hatchling Kin noticed the lurching, he stared for a moment, temporarily mesmerized. Soon, though, he began doing a strange bouncing and bobbing motion with his head, making little panting sounds and issuing soft clucks, with his maw stretched open very wide.
"Might as well avoid a mess," Rei mumbled resignedly, and as he finally gave up his fight against his crop, he partly closed his muzzle around that of little Kin in a hot, scaly French-kiss, letting the unfamiliar organ do its work of making some thick crop-milk for the hatchling. Hmm, its texture was a little bit like ricotta would have if it were warmed up just enough to partly melt, kind of gross--okay, incredibly gross--but not bad-tasting, actually, tasting a little bit like an emulsified patty-melt with swiss cheese.
As Kin got himself filled up like a cannoli with his belly swelling up quickly, his panting sounds transformed into peepy little purrs of contentment, and once his meal of crop-milk was finished, much of the stuff having leaked disgustingly out over his visage and neck, he soon curled up on the ground at Rei's forefeet and dozed off to sleep.
Rei thought enough of his new spawn to give him a tongue-cleaning, feeling kind of sorry that he made such a mess from his inexperience, and he wondered what to do next.
