It was around this time that the first group of tourists began arriving for the summer events. For simplicity's sake, it was decided to group all the events taking place as one single event known as the Animalia Summer Celebrations, or ASC for short.
The first group of tourists were generally known as the middle tier of income by Animalia. While it wasn't as big as last year's IAC, it was still a big crowd, and still a big source of humor.

One such case was where several sorority girls from UNLV were celebrating one of their members turning 21 by getting her a mixed drink at the Meat Market. Part of what made it amusing was Miss Birthday Girl's reluctance and generally being a wet blanket as her sisters led her toward the Meat Market. After they all got their ID's checked out, they entered the door and were an enormous wolf Animalian. What made him different was that he had darker fur on his front in the general shape known as the "treasure trail" by most people. The thing that made it different was that his musculature spread it out enough that his regular pelt could be seen through the hair.
"Hello, ladies," he said in a deep enough voice that would make the heart of any warm-blooded (straight) women do several cartwheels in a row. It didn't help that he was wearing what looked to be a G-string made to look like it was made of leaves, "My name is Marvin, and I'll be your server today.
"Sweet Artemis..." whispered one of them, which was apparently all she or anyone else could say.
"I'm sorry that you missed my performance today," continued Marvin, "But if one of you can sing a beautiful song, you might get a private show later." At that, one of the girls started singing 'Don't hold back now', but it was badly corrupted by lust, which seemed to show how much her mind was in the gutter.

In the security room of the Worldmeet Glade, Dr. Jones stood in the Security Room and watched Marvin's interaction with the sorority group.
"That's one of the two I have to look at?" asked Dr. Jones of the security guard, to which he nodded.

More often than not, the worst of the incidents involved heavy drinking and 'good times':
One small van with Greek letters of one of the sororities of UNLV, which was weaving slightly over the road back to one of the hotels. When it was inevitably pulled over, it was determined that the designated driver wasn't drunk, it was the other girls in the van, so plastered that an Animalian nose wasn't needed to smell the alcohol, moving around that was messing up the movement of the van enough to cause concern.
After some investigation ("helped" along by the other girls), it was determined that they were getting enough 'nerve' for the As-Bare-As-You-Dare competition, not knowing that it wasn't until the other tourist groups arrived that the ASC would take place, but that information wasn't revealed until they were barely able to keep walking a straight line. The "help" that most of the other girls (not counting the designated driver) shimmied, flirted, and otherwise misbehaved with the officers at the scene. As a result, most of those girls ended up spending their first night in the Animalian "Drunk Tank".

Fortunately, that was only the worst of it, thanks to announcements that the Rhino Guard would be keeping watch to make sure there was no lawbreaking, riots, etc. going on, even if many of the girls were more concerned with flirting with the male members.
