Now that Ty created a new body for himself, it's time to give it a little test run. The nature spirit flexed his muscles a few times, then kneeled down to dig his fingers and toes into the soft dirt. He could feel the immense power in the fertile soil, which could help a sapling grow into a great tree. Since Ty was now part plant, it gave him energy too. Ty couldn't help himself, he sat his firm naked butt into the dirt and rolled around in it, even grabbing a chunk of it and rubbing on his face. It was cool and tingly to the touch, and the best part is, nobody could ever force him to take a bath anymore! He walked confidently through the forest with his animal entourage behind him, feeling no fear or embarrassment.
... For a very short time, that is. After barely five minutes of walking, he ran out of forest, and he came out near the high school, right next to the outdoor stage and parking lot. The woods turned out to be a lot smaller than he remembered when he was little. And why is that, he asked? So big cities and suburbs and parking lots could exist? Now that Ty was royalty of nature, civization felt abhorrent to him. Just thinking about it made him feel a righteous hate in his heart! And as a result, the animal friends were also getting riled up, triggering their defense reactions! To calm himself and his friends down, he needed to make some major, drastic changes immediately. And here was a good place to start.
The forest spirit kneeled down and began to power up his magic to a massive level. His light attracted the attention of a group of older kids, including his former brother Dustin. Ty was unaware of his surroundings, but he knew they were laughing and saying things like "butt naked little freak!" The spirit sent out his first wave of magic. With no warning, the boys' clothing burst open at the seams, belts snapping apart, pockets spilling out, and scraps of fabric disintegrating. Dustin quickly scooped his wallet and cell phone off the ground, but all his money rotted away in seconds, and the smartphone screen cracked and splintered into pieces, followed by the hardware itself. The boys desperately held up their scraps of clothing, but the effort was useless, it soon wasted away to nothing. In their panic, the boys run to the parking lot, not noticing the patches of fur growing on their chest...
Ty's attention turned to the parking lot. Like an earthquake, the sidewalk split open down the middle and tall grass came sprouting out of the cracks. The fracture outpaced the nude boys, causing them to trip and fall over each other. They shouted at one another, "Shit! You're sitting on my tail!" "Your claws scratched me!" "Well, your feathers poked me!" Everybody did a silent double take. Not only was Dustin growing brown fur, claws, and increasing in size, all his friends were changing into birds, squirrels, deer... everything except human! In a last effort to save themselves, they crawled and flapped to their cars, only to see a horrifying sight. The magic spread to the cars in the lot, with windshields and windows exploding into shards, tires bursting open, doors and wheels dropping off, engines smoking and bursting into flames, and steel frames imploding and twisting into heaps of wreckage. Even the pavement ruptured, as grass, weeds, plants, and finally tall trees grew to full size in seconds.
The students, who were now more animal than human, ran the other way and tried to escape into the high school. But Ty had other ideas!
The entire building began to shudder and crack, followed by the deafening shatter of broken windows. All the faculty and students ran from the collapsing building in a panic, every one leaving behind shreds of their clothing and growing beastly features. Ty was kind enough to let them escape with their lives. Once they're out, Ty sped up his destruction, crushing the building into rubble and dust with his untold powers. Nothing was spared, Ty levelled the lunch room, made the classrooms crumble, gutted out the gym, sunk the stadium into a swamp... alliteration is still amusing, even as a spirit, Ty thought. The former students and teachers watched the self-destruction with fear and horror... at least until Ty's power eroded their intelligence. One by one, the transformed humans lost their logic and reason and returned to their feral state, stampeding away from the loud noise like frightened animals. Dustin, now just a boar grizzly, wet himself in his panic and scampered into the forest for safety, followed by the rest of the wildlife.
Ty's light faded out and he took a deep breath. It would be impossible to guess there was ever a high school here, the whole multiple-acre lot was just an extension of the forest with a swampy lake in the center. Ty laid down on his back and rested in the sun, preparing for the main event! Where does he even start?
