Ty and Dustin were about to have a contest to see who could come up the best form through their elastic powers. Then, they heard the doorbell ring. It couldn't be Dustin's parents--who were also Ty's foster parents--because Ty had changed them and their histories a few chapters ago. Both boys changed their tails back into their own human legs, and Ty retracted his long neck. Then, Ty walked to the front door and opened it.
On the other side were the boys' friends Peter and Allen. They had been invited over by Ty on a few days ago on Friday, the day before Ty's birthday and before Ty had gotten his reality-altering wishing power. Ty would have been glad to invite them over for his birthday on Saturday, but he had never been allowed to do so by his foster parents June and Mark. After inviting the pair in, Dustin asked to talk to Ty in the kitchen.
"Should we tell them about this?" Dustin whispered.
"Define 'this'," Ty replied.
"I mean, everything that happened since Friday," Dustin said.
"We might have to," Ty said. "It might be nice to have some friends who could know about my power, and possibly have some power of their own."
"Wait, are you thinking of giving them elasticity as well?" Dustin asked.
"Well, why not?" Ty replied. "They are our friends, and they might want to be able to have some of this power."
"Alright," Dustin agreed. "But we tell them everything first, and let them decide if they want the power."
"Done," Ty said.
So Ty and Dustin walked into the living room. Peter and Allen asked if anything had happened over the weekend, and thus they began to hear the story. At first, they did not believe it to be true, but after Ty demonstrated his power--by fusing into a two-headed teen with Dustin--their minds began to change. Ty and Dustin then separated back into their own bodies and continued the story.
"Wow," Peter said.
"I can't believe that you have that kind of power, Ty," Allen said.
"And to think you gave yourself and Dustin the power of elasticity," Peter added.
Sensing what they were going to ask next, Dustin nodded to Ty that he could ask them.
"Do you guys want elasticity as well?" Ty asked.
After turning to each other and thinking for a moment, Peter and Allen turned back to Ty.
"Yeah!" they replied.
"Alright," Ty said. "Just give me a minute. I just remembered something."
Ty wished that Dustin's elasticity would last until he took it away from him--Ty had originally wished that Dustin would have that ability for three hours, but decided to extend his foster brother's time with the power. Then, he wished that Peter and Allen had elasticity as well, and took the liberty of giving them a change in wardrobe.
When Ty was finished, all four of the teens--and their clothes--had changed. Peter was wearing a red leotard with an open front and back, along with white framed shades and a black and yellow striped belt. Allen was wearing a purple body suit with feet and a pair of green undies on the outside. Dustin was wearing a body suit that was evenly split in two colors--white on his left-hand side, and pale purple on his right; he also had blue gloves and boots. Ty now had a full body suit covering all of his skin, complete with a removable mask that covered all of his head, leaving only his eyes exposed--his costume was all green. All of the new clothes were tight, but none were uncomfortable, and all of them had the ability to extend and contract with their wearers--they were perfect.
