Mr Todd - I mean, Mr Toad suddenly travelled from his garden pond all the way to the river.
"How did that happen?" he said.
all the same, he hopped off the lily pad he had appeared on, and onto the river bank.
"However did I travel here?"
all day long, he hopped along the river bank, caught and ate a few flies, and dove and swam under the water.
soon the sun began to set near the river.
Mr Toad stared at the sunset in the river water. "No books to mark, no money worries, no clothes to wear, It's the perfect life for me." he thought.
he thought of getting back home, or he thought of living near the river for the night.
so what did Mr Todd, the teacher who became a toad, do?
he looked at his reflection in the water.
