Suddenly, it felt like the wind was picking up; the crops swayed with the sudden breeze and birds flew in all directions.
"Sure is windy, huh?" Cally asked.
"Funny, ol' Doc Hubert didn't say anything about a windy day..." Daisy said while looking up.
Cally immediately noticed two things: Daisy's smile dropping, and the wind moving in a circular motion.
'Now what?' she mentally groaned.
She craned her head to the sky and was greeted by the roar of a helicopter overhead.
It lowered into the crops, the letters on its side were plain as day: CDC. More choppers decended on the farmland as armored men dropped in and tackled the girls to the ground.
"What the hell's going on?!" Cally yelled in surprise.
A man in a hazmat suit came in and took cheek swabs from both girls. When Cally's was run through a small handheld device, it turned green.
"We found our serum! Return to the Safe Zone, bring the civilians with us!" the man yelled.
Before either girl could even ask, they were yanked apart and ushered into seperate helicopters.

Cally stood before the community Ron's family assembled. They were surrounded by soldiers as a man in a simple black suit stepped up to a podium.
He sighed and spoke into his microphone:
"Hello there.... I'm sure you all have many questions right now..."
"You'd better damn well have some answers!" Ron yelled out from the crowd.
"Oh yes, we do." the suit responded, "First off, this is our makeshift CDC headquarters/ military encampment. We are in the heart of Brentson, the town by yours."
"Excuse me, but I overheard somethin' about a serum when you grabbed me and my friend up there!" Daisy hollered out over the crowd while pointing to Cally, who was just sitting there, still as a statue.
The suit motioned his hand, causing a soldier to shoot into the air. He smiled as the crowd went silent.
"Oh yes, for this, I switch over to our head researcher on the quote on quote 'bimbo virus', Dr. Thadeus Grant!"
On stage stepped a man with green eyes and shaggy red hair in a lab coat.
"I suppose I should start at the beginning..." the man said with an english lilt.
