    Billy and Joe were walking down the tracks when the old Cultus Creek Cannonball came
rumbling down the line.
    They screamed and tried to outran the train,but as the blare of the old locomotives whistle
rang overhead the last sound they heard before they jumped off the bridge to the creek far below was
the engineer cackling away in the cab
