But not quite breaking. The children of stone resist transformation more than any other living thing and it was going to take more than the magic of four inexperienced unicorns to make Khatrah anything other than a (very angry at the moment) male dwarf.
Not so Robin, who the frustrated unicorns turned to when they realized that Khatrah was successfully resisting. In a blink of an eye the fat, corrupt barkeep was replaced with a lovely unicorn filly, as black as the other unicorns were white.
"Damn" muttered Khatrah. The price Dwarves pay for their resistance to magic is that they are very bad at it themselves except for creating magic weapons and other items. Khatrah didn't have the faintest idea what to do, and with the wizard transformed he didn't even know who to ask.
The unicorns were realizing that as much as they despised humans, they despised Dwarves even more.
