"Wait!" you say, your nose twitching as you sniff the air, not noticing that with that sniff is also a slight upturn of your nose.
"I smell it!" Viola speaks up, and it's not hard to tell from the tone of her voice that she's quite thrilled to smell it again. If you're honest with yourself, so are you.
"Isn't it just the most WONDERFUL smell?" Virginia moans, and you glance over to her. Her left hand wanders down her nice, wide hip as she visibly shudders with an intake of breath.
"You said it," Kurt grunts, licking his lips as sharp teeth protrude from his bottom lip. If you were aware enough, you'd notice that yours were doing the same.
"So what are we wasting our time here for? Let's go find it!" you say, feeling a momentary pressure in your hindquarters as a tail pops out above your waistband, unbeknownst to you.
The six of you rush off of the porch, running around the side of the house to the backyard with a frantic fervor. You needed that scent. You all needed it, desperately. It was enough to take you off of your focus, to operate on pure unbridled instinct.
But by the time you get to the backyard, there's nothing tangible there to hunt down. Lawn furniture, a grill, a picnic table, an ordinary, regular backyard.
"*Grnnk* Where is it?!" Mercedes snarls in frustration, her big pointy ears flopping as she twitched her head to the side.
"We're not giving up," you answer her, bending down to sniff at the bushes, as maybe it's in there. An audible shearing sound indicates that your pants have torn right down the seam.
"Mm-hmm, lookin' nice, Jay," Viola remarks. "That big fat ass of yours."
"You like fat asses, huh?" you ask, looking over your shoulder and wiggling your tail subconsciously.
Just then, you all hear a sound, a door creaking open. The hatch to the basement opens wide, and out steps...
