As Damon and Thoren the two of them were surrounded by the sounds of the night woods. However, as romantic as things were, Damon's body still had its natural functions. "Hey, Thoren, I'm gonna take a quick piss and be right back, sorry. I've been holding it in for awhile now." Damon asked and Thoren looked at him and said,"Sure, don’t take too long now."’
Damon nodded to Thoren and she continued to watch the clear night sky. Damon on the other hand wandered off a considerable distance so that the stench of his urine wouldn’t interrupt her nice time. Eventually he finds a place suitable area and he lifts his leg and sighs letting loose a golden shower upon a random bush.
Meanwhile, Prince Brendan wandered around when he heard the sound of running liquid, but soon followed was the strong scent of urine. There then came the sound of claws dragging on the ground, and out front behind a tree he spotted a black beast, a dragon. Prince Brendan knew these things slaughtered people and devoured them, however very few were known for their refusal to consume human meat.
Nonetheless Brendan couldn’t take the risk, so he drew his sword. However he wasn’t sure if his blade could pierce the hide of the beast, but he didn’t have a choice. So to took a deep breath and ran towards it at full speed, and then swung his sword.....
Meanwhile, Damon suddenly feel a long object strike the back of his head. "Ah fuck!" Damon snarled then he jerked his head around and saw Brendan, his brother, and Damon paused as he noticed the blade now dulled and cracked, then Brendan dropped the sword and it shattered against the ground.
Brendan then turned to run, but Damon tackled his brother to the ground and covered his mouth using his claw. "Brendan? What the hell are you doing out.....here...." Damon whispered angrily, but he paused when he realized what was happening right now, and he sighed,"Oh, fuck....I have some explaining to do, don't I?" Brendan just looked completely confused and after as this large reptile looked over him.
Damon quickly explained everything through from start to finish knowing that Thoren might come searching for him after awhile. Damon then uncovered Brendan’s mouth only to have his brother stare back up in disbelief. Damon noticed this and groaned facepalming,"It’s me! When I was 8 and you were 6 Mom and Dad had us personally trained in beginner swordsmanship, and YOU pissed yourself the second that anyone drew a blade against you. Hell, you’re prob...." Damon paused as his brother’s trousers felt moist beneath his claws, why did his brother have to be such a coward?
"Ugh, d...damnit Brendan, why again? I thought we were over that when you were 7!" Damon growled
"D...Damon...b...but how..w....why?!" Brendan asked, but suddenly in the distance Damon’s ears picked up Thoren's voice. "Brendan I don’t have time, just...don’t tell anyone." Damon begged
"B..but Damon...." Brendan said then Damon roared,"DON'T TELL ANYONE!!! Meet me here tomorrow, and I’ll give you an explanation. My...mate is coming, so just get as far away from here as you can."
Brendan nodded and Damon released his brother, and watched as Brendan ran off, but behind some trees. Thoren ran up and she asked,"Where were you Blackfire? You were gone for half an hour now."
Damon blushed a bit and said,"Just uh....I saw something and I had to deal with it. It was just an animal and it ran off, sorry, I didn’t mean to make you worried about me."
"You scare me Blackfire, I thought something happened when I heard you roaring. What kind of animal was it?!"
"It was odd, but I ended up pouncing on it, and it ran out into the woods when you came running up here." Damon explained nervously, and then he noticed the shattered remains of his brother’s sword and his heart dropped.
What if Thoren noticed it? What if she found out that Damon was human, and a prince? Would she still accept him if she knew? However the one question still remained above all else, would she find out the truth?
