Danny and Jake were stunned to say the least. The couple had just been into the Peacock Lounge not even twenty minutes ago, only leaving to get some ice cream across the street, only to come back and see this.
"A-are we in the right place?" Danny had asked, being the shorter of the two at 5'7" and with a smaller twink-ish build. He ran a hand through his gelled up hair, wearing a simple purple tank top with a unicorn and rainbow on the front that read 'Totally Straight'. He looks around the lounge seeing at what looked like a country fest for straights instead of a gay pride party.
"We are, which is what I don't get," Jake says. Standing at 6" exactly, being more toned and broader than his boyfriend, more of a twunk than a twink. His black hair cut to a medium length, styled in an upwards fashion similar to his boyfriends, wearing a pale pink v-neck that read 'if lost please return to my boyfriend' with a pale blue arrow pointing to his left where Danny stood. Jake's green eyes scanning the room, seeing nothing but straight people in the place. Wondering what's become of the Peacock Lounge and to the pride goers that were partying here.
"Babe, let's get out of here, this place doesn't seem right." Jake says, noticing as he holds Danny's hand in his their getting unfriendly looks and whispers from the people around them.
"Jake we can't leave yet, remember Rebecca came with us, we can't leave without her." Danny says. Rebecca was their lesbian friend who tagged along with Jake and Danny while her girlfriend was out of town. "She might be here, least I hope so, let me go find her and I'll be right back okay?" Danny says, pecking Jake on he cheek. Before Jake can stop him Danny's already heading into the barn, waving through the crowd of dancing couple as the country music echos through the club.
'Come on babe hurry up." Jake thinks, arms crossed over his chest and waiting by the door for his boyfriend and their friend, wondering why he didn't go along with him. Danny is so small compared to the brutes at this party, hoping his boyfriend didn't get into a fight with any of them. After almost ten minutes Jake decides to go look for Danny, hating how he forgot his phone in the car as he excuses himself through the people dancing, getting bumped into and a few insults thrown at him that he chooses to ignore. Coming up to the bar area where he thought he saw Danny head towards, the uneasy feeling in his stomach that Jake's had since coming into this place growing the closer he gets.
Breaking through the crowd, Jake looks around, spotting the same purple tank top Danny was wearing on a guy sitting on a stool with his back to Jack. The guy looks somewhat taller, but it could be because he's sitting on the stool. Jake can't see the man's face, but he can tell he's chatting up a woman, who's dressed in a polka dot dress. Jake can see her twirling her hair and smiling at the guy in front of her, touching his arm, obviously showing her interest in him. Which Jake thinks for a moment it might be Danny, but it couldn't be him. Because surly Danny wouldn't be chatting up a random woman. Would he?
