As the day continued, Karen experienced a lots of people looking and judging her for her cleavage on display. The mean girl, Stacey even pointed it out.
At lunch time Karen had sat at a table on her own when Mike sat down in front of her, Mike had had white hair for as long as she could remember, the colour of his hair was a milk white, not the usual old person kind. They had never properly interacted before other than walking past each other. “Okay, so before you say anything, I know what’s happened,”
“Wait what, you do??”
“Yes, it happened to me 5 years ago when I was 9, an old friend asked me the question and gave me white hair. I know it happened to you because I’ve seen you wear that shirt before without it showing your.. you know. I’m sorry for looking but it stuck out to me,”
“Yeah that makes sense, also, it’s okay that you were looking,”
“There’s no way for you to undo it so you kinda have to deal with it, I want to dye my hair another colour but I’m not able to, I’m not sure what we can do about it but I can try, let’s meet after school, here’s my number.”
As he wrote his number on a piece of paper, he was gone, walked over to a table with a few other boys and spent his whole lunch there.
After school Karen and Mike met up in the forest, a part that kids used to meet up and talk after school a few years back. They both talked for a while before, setting up a plan. Mike was just making sure he didn’t mess it completely up by reciting a line in his head. Just before he was about to say it, Karen’s friend Sarah jumped out and scared them. “How did you find your way here, and how did you know we were here??”
“I overheard you talking at lunch,”
“Wait how, you weren’t there,”
“Okay so I might of lied about not coming in, so last night at around 6pm I was out camping with my friends, and one of them asked me Transform or..”
“STOP!!” Mike shouted at her before she could finish her sentence, “You have to be seriously careful when you say it, you could actually kill someone if you don’t pay attention.”
Sarah looks at him in the eyes, she pauses for a moment, then says, “Transform or Dare,” she smiles as Mike begins to freak out, “Uhm.. I..”
