He was bored.
It was one of those long summer days where he could sit idle by and watch the sunlight change in his computer room. He could have, if it wasn’t for the bizarre change in mood which nagged him to get out of the house... something he hadn’t done in days, it seemed.
Andrew wasn’t a normal guy, but he wasn’t a particularly strange character either. He stood near 6 feet in height, but very thin, probably close to 140 pounds. He had a fairly handsome face, young, but handsome, with light brown hair and blue/hazel eyes. He didn’t shave yet. He barely had any hair on his body at all, actually, a few scraggly hairs under his arms and a thin bit on his legs. He looked younger than he was. And As one might imagine, all this lead to a young man who was rather unhappy with his apparently immature body.
For being only 17 years old he felt very free. His parents had given him a car, money to finance it, and left him very much alone to do what he wished. And that’s precisely what he did.
Just because Andrew decided upon traveling alone to Chinatown does not mean that he was lonely by any means, in fact, he was almost sick of his persistent company of friends who did nothing but play video games of some sort. This of course lead to his desire to get out of his house and get downtown, which was very close by.
He drove his car into the heart of the city with a parking spot in mind. It was later-afternoon by now so he didn’t need to worry about getting into the downtown area, but the traffic was certainly thick trying to leave.
He knew exactly where to park, his dad's work, where he could always park for free and walk about anywhere. It was close to Chinatown, and on his way he decided to make that his destination for the day, it would be a little adventure in a familiar place.
But something caught his eye as he walked down the main street, it was the tip of a red sign that was off the main drag and down a quiet alleyway. he had never seen it before, so it stuck his interest immediately... he knew this place very well, so anything new he just had to scout out.
He walked down the quiet little alleyway and onto an old back street obviously used for the shipping of goods to the back of the main street shops. But here, amongst the old crates and card board boxes was a new store, tucked away from the crowds only a block away.
An old man peeked through the window of the shop, now Andrew was hooked, he just had to see what was new here....
