A large, but surprisingly light wooden box was placed in Adrien's hands. The 18 year old boy opened it and nearly dropped the box in fright.
From within, a head was staring at him with glowing red eyes and it felt like they knew everything about him. Immediately he pulled his hand away and the lid fell back down, closing the box.
Adrien looked up and into the intense gaze of the shopkeeper. The latter only nodded and motioned for him to continue. Once again the blond opened the box. And once again the crimson eyes were staring right into Adrien's soul. He couldn't look away and was only a moment away from closing the box for good. Then the eyes blinked, the glow disappeared and Adrien was free to look at the entire content. The head, it turned out, had unnaturally pink skin and long, flowing blonde hair. Two purple 6-inch horns curved up from the head and the inviting lips were as crimson as its eyes and showed a soft smile. It was a testament to the allure of the eyes that neither these nor anything else inside registered to him before.
Below the head was an equally pink mass and Adrien was sure he could make out a hand with crimson nails on it. Maybe some kind of suit? To the side of it were a few clothes, all neatly folded.
The blond put 2 and 2 together and said: "I'm not into cross-dressing, I can't wear some weird succubus costume."
"Let me assure you, this is nothing as mundane as a costume. This, my young friend, is a bonafide succubus skin. Hollowed out, without destroying it and now ready to offer its instincts and powers to whoever wears it." The man explained with confidence, before quickly adding, "the clothes are just a bonus."
Adrien was very much skeptical, but only moments ago he couldn't tear his eyes of the head's. So maybe there was something to it? He decided to just ask, "Is that why the eyes glowed?"
"Well, a hypnotic gaze is a common ability among this kind of demon and it requires little power. Maybe this skin has retained more than I imagined," the intimidating shopkeeper answered, but then shook his head. "Either way, I believe this is what you want. What say you, Adrien Greenfield?"
