You two were trying to come up with something to do when suddenly you heard your mother calling you both downstairs for breakfast.
"Oh your parents must be back..." Mark muttered.
"Of course they are!" You looked at him quizzically. "They wouldn't leave two kids home alone."
"Right of course..." You couldn't figure out why he was acting so strange. Without further response he turned and headed out of your bedroom and down the stairs. You shrugged not sure why he was acting so weird and followed him.
You were greeted downstairs by your mom who had two bowls of cereal setting at a breakfast table. "Now I have two little jaybirds?" Your mom laughed at the fact you two were both naked. "I swear you two are two peas in a pod. Just make sure you put something on this time if you go out into the neighborhood to play." That could be difficult of course. Because of the settings on the Age-O-Matic none of your clothes fit you. You didn't think there were any baby clothes leftover that you could fit into. Getting dressed might prove problematic.
Maybe Mark had a spare outfit you could borrow? Wait... Where were his clothes? You couldn't remember... His parents hadn't dropped him off already naked had they? Why... Why couldn't you figure that out. He was naturally this age so had to have some clothing that fit somewhere.
"Oh um..." As if to answer your question Mark spoke up. "I um... Don't actually have any clothes with me." He looked a little embarrassed. That was strange... You were sure he was as shameless as you were pretending to be.
"In that case you can borrow something if you need too!" Your mom replied. Of course she didn't know yet that wasn't an option. You suspected she would be very confused if she looked into her closet. Then again maybe it would just be something she couldn't focus on. The Age-O-Matic seemed to make it difficult to focus on the inconsistencies of your age change.
It made it difficult to think about changes...
You looked at your naked friend as he happily ate up his cereal. There was something strange. A thought that kept circling your mind just out of your reach. You just... You just couldn't figure out what it was. For a brief moment... You almost had it... Then you couldn't remember what you were thinking about.
"What's wrong?" Mark asked. "You've hardly touched your cereal."
"Sorry just lost in thought!" You respond as you quickly ate up. Well after breakfast it looked like it would be up to you to solve the clothing problem... Or you could just not worry about it. Your mom didn't seem to mind the nudity maybe everyone else would think you were just silly kids.
