It was almost 11 p.m when Lisa and Jason returned home. Lisa had insisted on dinner, a horror movie and a trip through a haunted house. Jason of course went along witb his wifes suggestions but now found himself exhausted by an active evening.
"C'mon slow poke," Lisa exclaimed. Jason groaned as he entered the home. "Im coming," he breathed. Entering the house Jason gave his wife a odd look as she removed her heels. "Geez how do you have so much energy," he sighed. "Im ready to collapse."
"Hey you know me I'm a ball of energy," Lisa smirked, giving her husband a peck on the lips. "Besides I know you had fun tonight."
Jason smiked as he drew his wife closer. "Okay true," he said. "I had fun, its been awhile since i've done anything besides go out with Gloria on Halloween. Nice to know I'm not that old."
"Age is nothing but a number, " Lisa exclaimed. "Especially in this house." The two adults now laughed softly as they gazed out into the living room. Sighing contentedly they could see their daighter and her friends sprawled out across the living room fast asleep.
"Should we wake them," Lisa asked. Jason shook his head no as he now searched thw linwn cloaet foe extra blankets. "No let them rest," he whispered. "I'll message their parents and let them know their spending the night."
Jason and Lisa smiled down at the girls as they stirred slightly on the couch. "We really do have a great daughter huh," Lisa sighed happily. Jason smiked as he gazed down at Gloria. "Yeah she's one of the good ones," he said. "When I was her age I probably would of had a giant house party or something."
"I KNOW I would of," Lisa laughed as she turned the lights off downstairs. "Thank god Gloria's more responsible than that."
Jason and Lisa now made their way upstairs not knowing of the wild party their daughter had thrown. For Gloria and her friends it would be a secret they would keep between themselves, and a memory they would laugh about for years to come.
